Neverland

Depending on the project, an editor will have to do a lot. That position is probably the most involved in post production. I've done some class projects, like I made a short film last year and a few years ago I directed a Shakespeare play :) With animation I know it's easier to tell a story in another world etc. because you won't have to build practical effects or rely on post production effects. So if you want to make a fantasy film, animation may be a less costly movie. But not all films cost so much to make: Moonlight cost less than 5 million to make, and that won best picture ^^ How much a movie will cost depends on the kind of movie you're making. Horror movies are usually the cheapest to make, that's why we see a lot of them: Producers find the small amount to make them because they will make the money back because everyone goes out to watch horror films :P

Ah, yes... Mythology is like that! haha Some people see that factor as proof for the existence of something undeniable that manifests/manifested itself to us. I would say them both being the expression of our hereditary unconscious and the expression of it is also possible, but... who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :p

Yeah the screenwriter usually develops the initial story and all the beats and dialogue, but a director adapts that writing to the screen and that's where a uniqueness of a film truly shines~ ^^

Haha, I'm honored man. Calculus and Mythology, eh? I can respect that. Had quite a bit of calculus in my prior schoolings but dunno if I can remember much now xD. Mythology though, I've got to get my head around that sometime!
