Neverland @dakoya Ah I see. Well it's hard on a bibliophile to watch anime, when the manga version of said anime has already ended or is far ahead of the anime. It cools my excitement a bit, but I do enjoy the visuals and music of anime depending on the studio, sometimes.

CAC @cac That's one of the reasons I don't read manga, I'd rather watch the anime.

Neverland @dakoya Welp, I use these types of animes as background noise, so it's all good for me, since I know most of what is to happen, unless they decide to do a Fullmetal Alchemist on the show. And that's why I mainly prefer the Brotherhood version. They are starting to do this again with books ever since the Game of Thrones. The new big book series is The Wheel of Time.

CAC @cac Oh yeah I watched The Wheel of Time, the show was interesting.

Neverland @dakoya I read like the first few books a looooong time ago. It took too long for the rest of the series to come out, so I forgot about the series except when I find it at a Barnes and Nobel or until now with the new show. Does it seem like it might be as good as GoT?

CAC @cac Well it's only been one season, so I think it's too early to tell if it will get that big. But I hope so.

Neverland @dakoya What platform is it being hosted on? A cable channel (like HBO), web hosting platform (AppleTV) or something else?

Neverland @dakoya I knew it was on something like that. Too many different media platforms these days. I wonder how long I have to wait until I can be a true hikkikimori and not have to leave my house. I think it's kind of possible now, but damn all those service and delivery fees >.<. I was using grubhub the other day for like 30 bucks and the service fee plus totalled to 50 bucks. T.T

CAC @cac Yeah, leaving the house now a days isn't any fun. I'm lucky enough that I was working from home the last 2 years but now my work has us going in 2 days a week for absolutely no good reason.

Neverland @dakoya Well on a positive note, it's a good way to work on those social skills. I just didn't like the commute to my work before I became remote. Wasting 2 hours driving everyday is no fun, especially when there's always a high chance of dying on the road. One of the bad things about living in a big city, more people increasing the chances that an irritated drive will kill me. I kind of wish I could just take a video shot of them and report them to the cops later w/ their plates visible. Too bad there are not enough coppers to care about this. They rather go around discriminating people and killing little autistic kids.

CAC @cac Lol no I'll never improve my social skills at this point. Oh wow that is a real long commute, I live near a large city too but I don't drive so I guess I don't have to worry about all that. My commute is only like 15 minutes. Also I agree, the cops are shit.

Neverland @dakoya Well my weekend has started today. Have you ever gone shopping during the weekday while everyone else is at work? It's really weird b/c you get to see a lot of senior citizens out and about or home moms/dads. Lately I've been wondering if I should get a Sam's Club or Costco membership. I like to buy in bulk and since I recently moved into my own apartment, I think it's worth it mainly to stock up on water.

CAC @cac I have in the past yeah, but now I just have my groceries delivered. Sam's and Costco are pretty good if you like buying in bulk. I haven't been to one in a long time.

Neverland @dakoya I used to do that in college, but it's quite costly. I order a lot of grubhub as well and I'm beginning to see that it's very expensive too. I had an 80$ order, but only 60$ of it was actually what the restaurant charged, grubhub took the rest. If COVID ever settles down, I can't wait to go eat out more! I could really go for a DQ blizzard.

CAC @cac Honestly just food in general is getting more expensive.
