Yeah though it took me awhile before coming to that conclusion. I’m sure you could make a video for the ASE guys if you managed to get something to make the video with and had the time/motivation to get started on it *sometimes the motivation is the hardest part, speaking from experience lol*. I learned a little while ago that another anime con is starting its very first year near me next year. With any luck I may be able to attend it ^_^ It would be cool to be there for a con’s very first year. I’m not really sure, kind of forgot all about it haha. But I think it wasn’t long after I sent you the message that they were planning to do it again. No I don’t believe I have. Dang! That does sound like a good deal! How many episodes are in the first season? Hmm hard to remember since it’s been awhile since my last message lol. Well I did manage to get a good deal on the rest of the DearS manga which I really enjoyed reading. I think I ended up with the entire series including the fanbook for about bucks give or take 5. Aside from that……not really much at all lately I think for good deals…..oh well sort of….my original xbox started dying sadly and I put a TON of hours into a game called PSO and I didn’t want to lose the ability to play the game so I went a little nuts and tried to buy it online and bought the PSO Plus version for the gamecube for about 60 bucks wich apparently is a good deal for that game now a days. Me too though it’s looking more worrying since the other guy who does the same job as me has recently left so now I’m working 5 days a week…….and the first con is in two weeks from tomorrow. Starts September 4th. Well the one day rates differ depending on the days. For dragoncon the rates differ from 50, 55, 45, 35,(I believe, might be off by 5 bucks here or there) starting from Friday through Monday and I’m not exactly sure for AWA but I know they say on their site though I think they might be a little cheaper. I’ve started to notice that compared to English, Japanese is much more simplistic in the sense of being “specific” about things, if you know what I mean. I can’t say I have. I’ve never really thought about it before. I guess I always just thought about the subs just being subs you know? Unless it seemed wildly outlandish or really “off” I always just figured those were the subs I guess haha. Quite possibly, I mean after watching 3/4ths of Tenchi Muyo War on Geminar in subs and I went to watch one scene in English some of the voices seemed “off” to me so I know what you mean. Though that doesn’t mean that sometimes the choices for some voices can’t just seem off to begin with, regardless of the language you choose to listen to/watch. The similarities just never stop pouring down XD Yeah that could be it. Also could just be the best fit for the available applicants or maybe someone just really thought that he fit shino’s character and that was their personal preference/taste. I’m afraid that balloon was carrying a bit of lead lol though I did look it up and I found a screenshot so I did get a bit of meaning out of it lol. It’s not that it’s easier to mess up a building streak in Project Diva in particular it just that it’s easy to do because it seems that as SOON as you THINK about how high of a streak you’ve built up that’s when you can’t stop thinking and focusing on it and so you focus more on that and not messing up that you ironically usually mess up very soon after lol. I can get a streak of 150 and soon after I NOTICE it saying “150” I usually mess up because I’m thinking about “not” messing up XD

Oh there’s a nice number of body pillows sold at the two con’s I go to. Body-pillows covering both genders too, if I recall correctly. Yes an uber-lens for complete….socially acceptable things…..*averts eyes with slight mischievous smile* lol . Hey when you phrase it that way, being a sniper for the PST, it sort of sounds respectable! XD Mayybee, haha. If we lived closer to each other I’d be glad to help. I’m sure I could do some acting. Hopefully not, he might show up in the middle of the night now and offer us the chance to join though! He’s always busy with research for his next book you know lol. I’m so glad to hear that since we both know how unbelievable hard it can be to find a site like that. In a way I guess so haha. Also instead of the notes coming from the top of the screen to the bottom, the markers appear anywhere on the screen and the notes fly from any(predetermined so it’s not different every time you play each the same song) direction toward the markers. Really!? I can’t imagine how absolutely BUMMED I would be if a con didn’t come back again, not to mention if I didn’t hear about it WAY in advance…..like before the con ended for said year. I never even considered the fact that a con might not happen again……I guess that sort of shows how spoiled I am/how lucky I have it con wise? That’s a good way to look at it but I’m sorry since that’s a ways away to have to wait now :( Ah, okay. Stinks that life can be/has to be so tough. Hm I’m not sure. Probably not right away if I do. Might end up waiting a month or so before I would decide. Might end up choosing Hulu over Netflix if it came to it. Sounds like Netflix might be raising its prices again. Well if I’m lucky I can find the rest of it for a cheap price haha. I’ve found some more good deals every now and then but the problem is now they’re good deals if you haven’t already bought a few volumes. I’m hoping so too…..of course now I’m just really hoping that I’ll be ABLE to go to the cons….and for the entire con…..depending on the circumstances if I’m not able to go to the whole con it might not really be worth going at all……figuring cost into that as well as the disappointment level etc. Haha, that might be nice…..let’s just hope that I’ll be able to go to both cons. They’re pretty much the ONLY things I REALLY look forward to each year. I mean I look forward to other things but not like I do the cons. They’re also the only times I really get out and socialize more or less lol. It’s really interesting and fun now to see manga titles or listen to Japanese music and be able to translate or partially translate titles or words here and there, even if it’s a very small amount. I’m finding this interactive audio disc to be very helpful with the learning process. I wonder if it sort of falls under the “afraid of what we don’t understand” category but on a lower intelligence level? Lol. Mean joke, I know. Bad Animekid, bad. I’m not sure if I already said this but for me I’m not sure if its ocd or what but as I’ve watched more shows and noticed sometimes funnier or better lines in the subs I’ve started to like subs more though I really like many English dub voices to it’s a hard pull between both. So if I can’t watch the whole thing in dub or at least about ½ or 3/4ths of it than I’ll just stick with sub because then I would have to also try and familiarize myself with the Japanese voices for each character in even less time than I would have if I just started that way. I think there might be a little OCDishness mixed in there too. I really want it one way…or maybe both….I’m starting to confuse myself lol XD On a side note, I didn’t really care for the Japanese voice for Shino in Naruto Shippuden. The reasoning is because everyone else around Shino’s age sounds young, like the age they’re supposed to be but Shino sounds like Kakashi or Yamato, someone who is supposed to be like what? 8 or so years older than him? It’s kind of confusing for a bit before you realize what’s going on after awhile. Basically the sound of his voice doesn’t match what you think it should for the age of the character. Well I guess that’s better than negative or bad. Well I think our messages are going back and forth a little, growing longer and shorter so I guess it has to happen at some point lol. Also just like Rockband, Guitar Hero, Project Diva, etc. the more you think about the building streak……the more your likely to mess it up lol. I’ve done that so many times lol.

It’s pretty much like rockband or guitar hero in that respect. Actually almost fundamentally the same really except with vocaloid and the way the notes and songs are presented. Well it’s a little hard to say, Hulu has so much more anime it seems than Netflix though most of it on Hulu, unlike Netflix, is only subbed. As I’ve become more comfortable with watching subbed it’s been awhile since I’ve watched Netflix instead of Hulu. I don’t really care to spend money, even if it’s something I’ve been wanting and sometimes been saving specifically for. My family has been the one paying for Hulu/Netflix so it’s sort of been “free” for me all along though if I didn’t have such a “thing” (lol) about spending money than I’d say Hulu would be great for watching anime though if you go on streaming sites often then well yeah ones free and one isn’t lol. If you meant more of anime/manga in general with “leaving the free zone” it would be a case by case basis. I think it would really have to draw me in if it’s a new show/series or be one that I’ve already seen/read and have a REALLY good deal on it. I watched DearS and enjoyed it and found out that the anime was different than the original manga and I took the leap on that one and I’m in the process of trying to finish the manga series(trying to find a way to get good condition volumes for around $5 each, hoping for some at the next con(s) if my boss will even allow me to go….). In my experience it doesn’t seem to be that uncommon depending on how many volumes the series is. If it’s over 10 volumes I wouldn’t be surprised too much if it went up a little. If it went up in price more than once I might wonder a little though. I guess it’s not good for the consumers pocket either way though lol just the company’s pocket. It might be a combination of both lol. I really think it has and I think it may have helped me learn or at least reinforce the learning process with a few Japanese words. I’m glad to hear that, it’s really crazy how sub-vs-dub wars can get. I’ve been lightly involved/read a thread revolving around one and it’s kind of silly and nuts with the abstinence and unwillingness to bend in the slightest there, even if only to acknowledge that someone else can enjoy a version that you don’t and vis versa. I think I’m starting to be drawn a little more to sub now, though my enjoyment of dub hasn’t lessened. So far I’m certain though that if I can’t watch at least half the series in dub than I would prefer sticking with sub from the beginning though there are some series that I would prefer sticking with sub/dub/both simultaneously right from the get go for various reasons depending on “said” show. Obviously thought the both simultaneously thing would probably only work with the dvd version where you can turn on both options. It would be you’re new anime family! Ah well I hope it’s nothing negative family-wise. Way to go! I managed to finish this one myself in one go too, though I think I’ll take a break before I get started on the PM. Not sure if I’ll post this before or after the PM but I guess you’ll find out soon enough XD

Thankfully Kissxanime is still up and going. But your right, most places don’t have the specials or OVA’s which can make it really hard to see them, dub OR sub. They’re good songs, in my opinion. Actually I really enjoyed the majority of the music on the second game “F2nd”. I enjoyed them on the first one too but I think I enjoyed more of them in the second one. I hope you can and I hope you can still attend the con when it comes around in June. Money problems are hard ones to fix :( Not really, no. They still want a credit card when you set up the account but that’s for if you ever choose to buy anything. You input the credit card info when you create the account but you never HAVE to pay for anything unless you want to ^_^ I know, I felt pretty much the same way though who knows how much money they would have lost with the last few volumes. From an unknowing customers point of view though………They released 14 volumes, starting out at 7.99 I think and somewhere around volume 8 or 10 they increased the price to 9.99. It’s hard to tell for certain, though as they say “there’s nothing new under the sun”. Do you have a library near you that might have some anime movies? Hulu and Netflix (if available) are also good places for anime movies. I don’t think I mind too much either way. If I enjoy the series and it’s redone….well battle angel is the only one I can think of that I like that was redone (FMA was redone but the revamp was supposed to be more like the original manga then the first anime was so I don’t know that it counts in this conversation) so I guess I can’t say too much for certain but I didn’t really mind that Battle Angel was redone, I enjoyed the first series and I kind of keep it as the original and the true version in my mind and I just enjoyed it more than I did of what I read of the revamp. If it’s enjoyable and it doesn’t try too much to usurp the original (unless the first was REALLY bad ) than I guess I don’t mind because it’s brining more of what you love, back. Though it’s true that some stories, anime/manga etc. ended up with more story after they ended than they really needed too, i.e. perfect ending before they created another season/storyline. As for dub vs sub. (I grew up with dub) I prefer dub for ease of watch though over the last few months I’ve become SO much more comfortable with sub. I’m not against dub with sub on at the same time though, best of both worlds. Let it be noted that I do realize that when comparing dub lines to sub lines that the dub can seem ridiculous sometimes, and not always in a good way. Lol you could keep in touch with so much anime stuff that way! Why again are you having to hop, hop, hoppity, hop so much lately? Darn life getting in the way of lazy, fun, enjoyment time!

So sorry for the late reply. Haven't been on here much and didnt realize the comments lol But yes exactly. some soundtracks are complete perfection for movies/shows. Especially Harry Potter (; I would have to say my favorite is Lucky Star. I did enjoy Haruhi Suzumiya a lot. And Sailor Moon will always be a top favorite. :)

I can’t recall now since I took so long to get around to working on this message XD but it was probably something like Tell Your World, Packaged, or SPiCa-39’s Giving Day Edition. It is a fun game if you ever have the chance to give it a try. If you have a PS3 and a connection to the PSN then you can even download a free demo. That would have been really nice if that’s how my sentence would have ended but sadly no :( Afraid not, they stopped with only 5 volumes left :( Yeah I know where I can read it online and I actually started reading it online a number of years ago but stopped 2 volumes from finishing it. Then years down the road they started releasing it and I decided to reread it/finish it and I started buying the volumes but they cancelled it before I even caught up to where I left off years ago. Another reason that was disappointing and probably even more so for new fans of the series was because of paying roughly $140 up to that point for the series (estimate 9.99 per volume but not exactly, probably more around a total of $100-$125). It can make it harder to understand sometimes, though it can also make things more interesting lol. I’ve seen a good number with male deaths yeah. Most recently was Attack on Titan but there have been a number of other shows though not all with as many/constant deaths as that show. The Akane Iro Ni Somaru Saka anime actually WAS based off of an adult visual novel so it probably is related to the one you’ve heard about. It was interesting. The description of the series was a little heavy on one event that happened in the first episode so it kind of felt like it was going to be a little different than it was but it was still good. It was about a high school guy who ends up saving a girl from some shady high school guys *by a misinformed reputation/rumor* and then she ends up in his school and soon after you find out that their parents arranged their marriage without them knowing and she came down to find a way out of it and that more or less gives a synopsis to a point though there is more. I haven’t thought much about all the anime movies I’ve seen but there are a bunch, some bleach movies, inuyasha movies, Appleseed, Armitage, Naruto movies, Rahxephon, and quite a few others lol. Probably at least 50, maybe double that. Yes and no I imagine. There’s a manga series called Battle Angel Alita where after the series was ended awhile later the author restarted the series. Apparently they didn’t really like where the first one was going and this was more true to what they wanted but that first one was the one I came to know first and I preferred that one though that’s probably the only case for me like that but I imagine that’s not too uncommon a thing. People probably prefer more often the first way they come to know things. Dub/subs, ….having trouble thinking of other examples right now but I’m sure there’s a number of others. Just thinking and typing that little bit about Miku has started playing one of her songs from Project Diva in my head haha. I believe so, though I don’t recall what year it was aired. But yes it sadly never made it to a DVD release and apparently you can’t even find it online! Or at least not dubbed. They started releasing the manga in English a few years ago but sadly they stopped at volue 14…..and there are 19 volumes total…I was SO unhappy…. It’s not at all that female characters don’t set well with me it’s their DEATHS that I don’t care for. If I didn’t care for female characters then Madoka Magica certainly wouldn’t be one for me lol. ^_^ and I’m just about to finish another one called Akane iro ni somaru saka. I only have to finish the one OVA and then there’s another finished one to add to the list ^_^ I’ve worked rather hard on that list and it doesn’t even include anime movies. DBZ would be an example of a show where the author/creator was forced to go a different route than they wanted to. In DBZ’s case it was that they wanted to end it but they were forced to continue on. Hence how Goku came back from the dead as well as other characters vs staying dead and the series ending. Since finishing this message I have now finished Akane iro ni somaru saka ^_^ Also wow, once I actually sat down to work on this reply I actually finished this one pretty much all in one go!

It was kind of long wasn’t it? Haha. Very true, it really would be a message from me to you and you to me without a publisher being involved lol. You already did? Huh, maybe I did show them to you before….We do put on a good show for Halloween ^_^ You and me both, who knows what improvements we might make by then! Not too much no, almost seems like half of them don’t put out any lights at all, regardless of the holiday. There are some though, a block away or so, that do put on a nice show of lights, mostly for Christmas that I can remember. I don’t think I walked down that way during October so I can’t say for Halloween decorations. The thought occurred to me at one point, they were even in my area (Atlanta-ish). You have? That’s cool. Hmm, well my “biggest zombie flaw” might be…well it might be circumstantial. One big flaw would be my self-confidence which would be one reason why I didn’t try out to be an extra, after watching a short video of the zombie extra try-outs . The other part might be more circumstantial to “which kind” of walking dead zombie I might be. If you listened very carefully in the 2014 video you can hear “some” of my guttural zombie sound which I think I’ve got down pretty well so I’m not worried with that. My walk tends to change since I don’t feel I have a “set” zombie walk…mostly I can’t choose what I like best but that would be my only flaw for a “background” or and whatever the middle distance zombie was called but for the “kill zombies” that the cast kills, the close up ones, my big flaw would definitely be that I don’t feel comfortable even TRYING contacts which is what they like to add to their kill zombies to add an opaque look to the eyes and a more dead/decaying feel. On a fun note, if I’m just screwing around trying to freak out somebody a flaw might be that if they don’t freak out and I start to get up close….I just don’t know what to do next lol XD. A great example is the night version of the 2014 video where the camera guy (my dad) didn’t do anything even to play along and by the time I got to the camera I just kind of….I don’t know…flubbed? Lol Very true, well it is one of the great mechas of otakudom XD. I’ve passed!! YYYAAAYYYY!!!!! Lol Hm good question…..possibly yes….possibly no…..well as they say, sanity is overrated haha. Sort of but not quite. The Final Plus is kind of a redo of the last episode (ep50) of Seed Destiny. Supposedly the producers, directors or whomever thought that they might have more episodes to finish the story but realized otherwise and so the last episode felt rushed. Well whatever the reason you can kind of see that in the last episode due to how they handled it/what was felt that was missing or even what feels important that was in other gundam shows at the end(or feeling of closure) depending on how you look at it. So the Final Plus movie is a movie version of episode 50, basically lasting the length of 2 episodes instead of 1. It definitely has more of a fulfilling ending feel, throughout the episode as well as the end of the episode where they usually have an epilogue kind of thing. In my opinion though I kind of like what would be a mix of both. I definitely think that Final Plus added something that was missing with episode 50 but I felt there were “off” points with the movie. I haven’t gone back to verify this but I think that (now I’ll be honest, I can’t clearly recall right now how exactly it happened so all I remember for certain that there seemed to be an inconstancy) there was a scene that was in ep50 but was not added to the movie version but the movie version did add a scene that built upon said missing scene so if you hadn’t watched ep50 if might leave you wondering even though they slightly presented the “idea” of what might have happened with a 2 second flashback (can’t recall if they even did the flashback part…..). It wasn’t a big thing but it wasn’t a small thing either for motivating the characters for their current action when the fight scene came up. Also once or twice I think they changed the words slightly in the movie version which I might not have cared for in the original episode anyway but might have felt rang more true in the original ep anyway. So it’s kind of iffy/weird for me because for me I feel there are important aspects to both, so a combination of both is what I might like best though there were some points I just felt a little iffy on reguardless though that would be more to my opinion of certain characters and whatnot and not a real reflection of ep 50 vs. Final Plus. Really, 50% or so? They seem to be very good at hide and seek lol. It really is a good deal. You’re probably right. Being surrounded by “con energy” just revitalizes you like a super drink. Oh I’ve been bringing a camera with me to con’s since my first one. No way would I miss the picture opportunities lol. For good and bad reasons XD. I’ve had to work on my nerve to ask people for their picture over the years though. Felt a little embarrassing and also like you said, you sometimes wonder if you keeping them from something. I saw a really good Hinata Hyuga at AWA my first year and I tried to find a moment to ask her for a picture but she was either too far away or on her phone and I tried following her for a little bit (while not trying to seem like an obvious stalker ^ ^; ) but she also seemed a little unhappy, assuming something to do with her call, so I never asked her :(. Hopefully she wasn’t looking unhappy because of the freaky guy following her through the con lol ^^; I can’t really remember which con and year it was that I saw the Gundam suit but I think it was either AWA or Sakura-con. I don’t think I’ve seen one outside of a purely anime convention but at the anime conventions I think I might have seen one at least every other year? So maybe not too uncommon? As I think about it….I definitely remember seeing one at Sakura-con in Seattle. It is nice when you see a new seller, though to an extent it is nice to be able to rely on old sellers coming back again if you really like what they have, year in and year out. But it’s nice to shake it up a little bit every now and then. Maybe, I haven’t seen it happen much (though on the last day of the con they do offer discounts/haggle usually) but I’m still somewhat new to the con going scene, at least in the “under 10 years” sense, so who knows? My parents were visiting my sister(a few states away) and they stopped at a PX along the way that we’ve been to before that had a weapons shop and they bought it for me ^_^ Would be nice to sneak off to a few secret cons though hehe. We could have some good fun with confusing people though lol. My parents are retired military and the military bases have a commissary (grocery) and a PX (mash of food court/all-purpose store i.e. furniture, clothes, electronics, etc and a few random temporary stores). We visit the PX/Commisary every now and then when we are near one since the Commissary and PX don’t charge tax. Oh the good and terrible stuff we both have probably seen haha. Careful now, those be restraining order words lol. It would be even more fun if we shared friends! Then it would be even harder for them to figure out who was who! Hmm probably somewhere in the vicinity of hard rock/metal maybe with some kind of Jpop in there? If you know what I mean? Maybe some inspiration from the opening/closings of Nana, Deathnote….probably a few other good ones but that’s all I can think of right now. Probably donations, yeah. I’m FINALLY able to find and WATCH the ova’s that I’ve been unable to, including Eureka Seven AO ;). Now if only I can find some place to watch the mythical English dub of Ichigo 100% lol. Supposedly it was aired in English many years ago and I wouldn’t mind hearing the voices they thought would work for that series. But eh probably doesn’t exist but I’m so happy I can finally watch ova’s again T_T I can’t really recall any notable characters at the moment but for one, I’m never one for female characters dying so Petra in AoT was one though she didn’t have much screen time to begin with. Um, I think there were a few characters in some of the Gundam series I’ve seen that died but nobody really jumps out right now though I KNOW there are some….hard to recall all 105ish animes I’ve seen XD. Oh Sakura from Key The Metal Idol….and a girl in Jyo Oh Sei…who’s name I can’t remember right now. I think so, he didn’t really want to fight to begin with so he just wanted everyone to be able to live peaceful and happy lives. I can’t say, I just have to assume that it might be the type of ending the author preferred because that was the ending that was made for it but I can’t really say. It wouldn’t be the first time an author (regardless of medium) made or was coerced into ending a story different from what they would have wanted.

In the 2014 video if you listen close enough you can hear my zombie guttural sound as the camera gets closer(it wasn’t done very well that year sadly….the video I mean, a bit short and whatnot, but watching the video helps to be able to improve for next year, timing and whatnot). If I don’t buy the return ticket first I might forget about saving money for it and just spend it all on anime related things…..I might even forget to save some for room and board! lol I don’t think there was any emotional scaring from such a deep level of syncing with that show thankfully. Thankfully the replacement volume 12 disc they sent me worked perfectly and I have now finished Gundam Seed Destiny ^_^ The ending was a bit eh in some ways (or just parts really) but I was happy, especially after watching the “Final Plus” part as well (best to watch them both together rather than just one over the other because they both cover the last episode but in different ways, in a manner of speaking). For the first year you volunteer you pay $20 but that’s still 40 cheaper at the worst, depending on how long you took to get your badge. It could end up saving you over $100 if you would have waited until last minute to buy a badge and the $20 covers you for all 4 days of the convention and if you volunteer the next year as well, both for the full 25hrs then you get a volunteer T-Shirt and that second year is free. I think I was sore at times but not too bad thankfully. Though I can’t remember why I wasn’t haha. It was really nice to see an IRL Holo. I believe they have some photo archives on their website but I’m not sure about GeekConCoverage being there or not. Hmm good point. I think I’ve sort of become used to seeing really good handmade cosplays now but also I’m still not extremely comfortable with going up and talking with people I don’t know so half the time it would just be a guess if it was handmade or bought or I would have to overhear people talking to others about their cosplay’s. Though now I do recall I’m always amazed when I see a good homemade Gundam mobile suite cosplay. It started as one sword per con but I haven’t bought a sword at a con for a year or two though now. For the most part I’m not seeing any swords I’m really interested at the cons anymore, or at least within a reasonable/affordable price range right now. Part of it is that I’ve noticed it’s the same store every year and the same merchandise….almost exactly it seems lol. So if I’m not interested one year it’s not likely I’ll be interested in their wares the next year. I hate watching a show only to find out that there is an ova(s) that is unavailable to me (most recent as I told you Euraka Seven AO but also Darker Than Black). Deciding now that BEFORE I watch a new show I first check to see if there are any OVA’s and if there are then see if I can watch them anywhere BEFORE I start watching the show. If there are and I can’t watch them then I pass on the show. Sadly it almost seems like every show has ova’s now XD though sometimes I’m lucky and I can watch them with the rest of the streaming episodes provided (on hulu and the others). Do you usually like non-main-side/supporting character pairings or do you just seem to be unlucky with watching the kinds of show’s were they kill off tons of reoccurring characters? I’m lucky enough (I guess haha) that I haven’t seen to many show’s where my favorite pairings are killed off but I have on more than one occasion seen a/some of my favorite characters killed off :( Well I guess if one were to look at it as if it was real then in the sense that “he” was happy with how things turned out and the fact that the world and his friends (or the people who were his friends) are happy and living peacefully then it is a happy ending. I can also appreciate it for the more uniqueness of its way of ending it but….well yeah. But the way I look at it is, would I have preferred a different ending? Sort of. Now that it’s done this way and I assume it’s done how the author/director wanted it to go/end do I want them to redo it? No not really because I see it as how it was supposed to go.
