Do your friends respect Anime?

all of my friends are slightly into anime at the very least. as for your "friends" if i were in your situation. i wouldn't consider them living beings let alone friends.

It honestly doesn't come up. I have friends who are super into it, I have friends who aren't so much into it. When/If we talk about anime, it's no more than if we were talking about the latest episode of like game of thrones or American gods or whatever else show that someone wants to discuss/recommend to us. I do think that if your what your friends are saying is bothering you, you should actually seriously tell them about how it bothers you and please stop. If they don't then there's no miscommunication as to how much they value your friendship.

I don't have real-life friends, well I seriously don't consider to, especially if they don't really talk to you. Also, so no.

Nope. And I've never found the need to hide the fact that I love anime. They have their opinions but they've never once made me feel bad for liking it - my best friend only likes a small amount of it and loves to make fun of anime in general but he happily accepts that fact I love it. He'd even go as far as to try out the ones I suggest to him with stuff like Ajin being the type of thing he'd enjoy.

As 90% of my friends are nerds, I'm pretty sure most of them at least get it. Those who are in that 10% are people I'm pretty sure may not even know what anime is, and thats not why I'm friends with them, so its not what I talk about when I'm around them. Then again, I am often surprised by what my friends are into when I talk to them long enough.

Nope, they don't nag or harass me for watching Anime. However, if there's someone who does have a problem with me liking Anime, it's not much I can do for you. Not my problem.
