The free one being cyberghost vpn and the paid one being privateinternetaccess. I would have to say the paid one offers much more customization and I enjoy way more. I also like that I can pay with a gift card so I don't have to give them my credit card. However, you would need to provide an email so they can send you the password I think. I will say that if you choose to pay with a gift card don't expect it to be cheap. A $50 walmart gift card can get you a year of service. Just using your credit card should be cheaper. You ever hear of cold fusion? Made a lot of people really excited, until the results for the experiment couldn't be reproduced. I think that if it is for the sake of science and the gaining of knowledge then yes experiments need to be repeatable. However, if it is a company that is working on something in secret and they don't intend to publish their work for other members of the scientific community, I think it should be up to whoever is in charge or footing the bill.
