I used to work in retail for sometime. I've gotten quite a bit of stories from that and stories in general. So I wanted to share some. Maybe some might think they are funny. So one time I was with my family at the water park, my cousin and i were at the wave pool. He tended to follow me around like a lost puppy when we were little. So he was behind me in a tube or raft thing which ever. I pushed him away from me and he winds up bumping into a lifeguard, who then takes the raft\tube and throws it up and out of the wave pool into the storing area, as the waves start up again. He looks back and sees my cousin there looking at him, says "oh..woops" and swims away like it was nothing. So I start laughing and waves start smacking Me in the back of the head and I start to inhale water thinking... if only I had a raft.

At a party overhearing these people chatting in the back deck. They all seem to be juniors in college.(Most seem to have "ah yeah that ONE time I was drunk shizz was so cray" story to "show off.") One of the chicks who looked pretty reserved goes: "Yeah i was so fucked up that night I made out with like 5 different guys." And i just about spit up my drink. Opinions/impressions change fast brosefs. (...i don't think talkin about makin out with 5 different guys after gettin wasted is anything to boast or share about anyways LUl)

Truth, though it usually for me takes some serious reason to change my opinion/ impression of someone to negative, but its easier for me to see someone i see negatively, become a positive impression, so long as it's maintained. usually stemming from first impressions. If I've known you for a long time and you have been nothing but shitty to me i don't have respect for you and you will have to work your ass off for it. Ill post one of my fun adventures in retail when i wake up.(also infernal you have my favorite character from DS as your avatar. Props to you)

I work as a caregiver for developmentally delayed adults at a facility and I use to be a floor lead which pretty much equals to manager. One day during lunch time after everyone else got to stuff their face, I took the opportunity to relax a bit. I decided to snag me a PB&J while majority of everyone was outside smoking, thinking I could enjoy it in peace. So I'm standing there minding my own business while munching on my sandmich when I hear our oldest client who tends to throw tantrums over everything, snapping at his staff because he wants to make a phone call. His staff tries to calm him down but they end up just arguing and it's a daily thing so I'm whatever about it. Plus being a floor lead, you wanna take whatever little break you can get so I continue eating without a care in the world. Well Client comes into view arguing with the staff so I glance at him. We lock eyes for a second before I shrug him off and continue eating, pretending to find my sandmich interesting to avoid him. He then faces his staff while suddenly throwing his arm out toward me and snaps, "And Saynee can't make the phone call with Me because she's too busy cotton picking!" I nearly choke on my sandmich while everyone else snaps at him for the racist comment. I then exclaim his name like I'm gonna rip him a new one but burst into laughter while hitting my chest to keep from choking. Everyone just stared at me surprised and confused then awkwardly joined in. Once the laughing is over and they're still staring at me I scoff then retort, "if you're going to be racist at least say I was pineapple picking or sugar cane picking!" Then proceeded to walk away like a boss holding back fits of giggles.

On that note my friend and his father are Laotian, my friend being half. He was riding with his father on his route, he's a truck driver, and they stop at a gas station in a southern state, the lady behind the counter goes " wow it's rare to see you guys, what tribe are you from?" They look at each other and back to the lady. "We're laotian..." says his dad. The lady looks at them "Were they in the rocky or Appalachian mountains?" And now for my retail story So one day while I was working the service desk,the only one that is constantly open. A lady comes to the register with her cart puts it all onto the counter, she has a shoe box, with me being tired after the 2 of clock rush I just scan it and continue. Then the lady's little girl says "but mommy what about the things you put in the box?" I look at the lady and open the shoe box, sure enough to there is a bottle of shampoo hotsauce and a small jar of pickles... and that's why you don't take your kids with you if you aren't going to pay, they are too honest, and I love that

Both stories are funny but the little girl is awesome. I would've bought her a few candy bars if I could x3 One shift a client was giving everyone hell through out almost the whole 8 hrs, running away from staff, trying to pick fights with other clients/staff and trying to attack them. He decided to go after another client with a 2x4 but got grab for a restraint. He was still able to swing it around so he tried to swing it at the client but I stuck my palm up to block it. Well unfortunately for him, it bounced off my hand as he pulled back and he ended up clocking himself in the face. Instantly stopped his behavior. He got checked out then went straight to bed.
