We seem to have a high rate of otaku and anime fans for a midwest region, probably because of the university. I'm curious as to whether or not anyone from this site is here, and not just in KC.

I'm normally on around this/that time, but I've been sleeping a lot lately while recuperating from a mild illness so my schedules have been all messed up. There's the Vampires Unite thread for people who tend to be nocturnal in general (though I wouldn't blame you for assuming it's about the actual subject of vampires).

This is a good question ^^ 1. Personality. this seems to be a big one here, i want a person who actually shows emotion! someone who can laugh at herself and be happy, a nice girl who isnt afraid to act on her own! 2. Humor! guess this plays into Personalty... but its still needed in a relationship. people should be able to cut back and enjoy life once in a while, being serious all the time isn't good for anyone or anything :/ 3. shared interests. In any somewhat successful relationships I've been in they all involved me and my, at the time, significant other being somewhat compatible, having common interests in something is a great bonding experience, and does wonders for a relationship ^^ 4. not afraid of affection/contact. I know its not just me, but i'm a huggy guy. i just like holding onto my girl, not in a creepy, clingy "i will never leave you" way, but a "i love you and want to be with you" way. its just what i need in a relationship. physical contact is such a bonus with relationships and should be done to strengthen the bonds between them ^^ 5. Loyalty I've been in relationships when the other wasn't faithful. the pain still haunts me to this day, i hope to never endure it again :/

I play alot of video games and recently I've been watching so much anime that I've been forgetting to eat... Hopefully someone can help me get back on track. not saying to break up with him but it sure seems like he's using you from a out side perspective especially if he has a job and still asks you to pay for all that he asks you to. think long and hard before you do anything but in the end everyone usually understands what the wise thing to do is they are just split at least in this case because you care about the person. all the majority of us are saying I think is don't let him take advantage of you and at least for me true gentlemen try to offer to pay for there date as opposed to the asking them to pay for it and when ever I've driven a girl to on a date I really don't ask for gas money that just seems down right cheap. :/
