I find I get a little grumpy when someone asks me out and only now I found its the WAY they ask me. I just don't like that wanna-be thug act and I really can't stand a guy who isn't genuine. I can sniff that out almost instantly. Aside from that I really don't have a probably asking or being asked but it's got to be legit. Can't stand talking and talking only to find I wasted my time. Rejection happens you get over it and move on to the next.

Thats a shame. I know many Chinese who speak very good English with little accent. They don't deserve to be discriminated like that.

Alpha? Sounds like a cheap Harlequin Romance novel. To be honest if you boil things down to one category you limit yourself on the possibility of finding someone right for you. I prefer to think of a guy for what he brings to the table. Honesty, don't have time for games (unless its a board game or console), I prefer to hear from his own lips the worst he thinks he's done. I'll have more respect for an honest man then a sneaky little boy. I also have a thing for grumpy men but not so much that they can't be affectionate to me. If they are private all the better, I'm the only one that gets to see that softer side of him. The talk about an alpha is all fine if we were dogs or wolves but we are humans. And everyone has a preference and even then they aren't sure what they truly need/want until that person comes along. I just hope my guy will treat me good in the long run and make me laugh a lot. XD

I second Hikkikomori, a large part of the Eco movement is propaganda and "feel good" emotional reasoning. I watched one of those lovely "EARTH IS DIEING! *insert contradicting 'evidence' here to invoke emotion*" movies in class today and all the other students were freaking out at the doomsday scenarios. They then proceeded to drive home in their personal SUV, eat some fast food, complain about not having enough X, Y, and Z, and take a long shower before going to bed.
I do like eco stuff, however. Not because it makes me feel good, just because it tends to be more convenient for me. Eco technology as far as energy is concerned won't be ready for implementation for a long time, however. Look at what happened to Germany when their Govenment decided to "Go Green" with billions of tax dollars during the previous generation of solar panels. They now basically have inferior, inefficient solar panels that could be replaced with 1/10 of the amount of newer solar panels and be better off.
So, yes, I want more Eco-items... once there's a stable market for the product. The stable market will come when the technology is self-sustaining in the marketplace.

Crying is part of life, man or woman so let it out if you have to. Don't be afraid to show what's making you worried, scared, angry or sad. We all have these emotions. I just never understood why society thought that men shouldn't be allowed to cry. Sure if you're crying everyday all day then there's got to be some control but if it's a reason, or purpose behind it, let that stuff go. And women shouldn't be making men feel like they're any less of a man for showing a softer side. I think more men would benefit from shedding that social act of being "strong" 24/7. You'll be surprised how many women just want a guy to feel comfortable enough to let out a few tears if only to get back that stoic exterior.
