Are we talking fappability here? If I use my penis as a compass, than nothing beats real life porn. However fapping to hentai sometimes provides a more imaginative and engaging experience. Now if we are talking in terms of love and personality, 2D girls take the cake. Some people would get sick of exaggerated personalities, but I'd be happy with it. Take this scenario: Real life girlfriend opens the door and says, "Hey, you forgot to take out the trash again." -or- Anime girlfriend kicks open door screaming "Baka baka bakaaa!" I just love the flavorful personalities.

I would have enjoyed Independence Day if USMNT was still in the World Cup preparing themselves to play Netherlands on Wednesday. Instead I was at work and by the time people in my area were going off with their illegal fireworks, I feel asleep.

Oh man the USMNT. I knew we wouldn't get to the finals but man, what an amazing way to go. Honestly, I already counted it was a triumph cause we beat Ghana! hahaha Well, I can't really add much since I like sports, specifically hockey and soccer. And I like to watch with other people haha :P I suppose the only real thing I can add is when people kinda give me incredulous looks when I state that I don't really like football, which is almost like a religion in Texas, but no one's actually given me crap about it.

An older gentleman, with steel poise and gentle gait, took a leisurely stroll along the deserted streets. The moonlight illuminated the cobblestone paths as his wooden sandals made impact. The man liked to clear his head from time to time, to release the pressure valve of his day to day life. The only son of the town's blacksmith, he grew up baptized by the smoke and grit of the forge. Happier times, when tools took precedence over instruments of death. He smiled sadly, remembering the decent of his father's face into wrinkles and misery, as blades became vogue. It was a town off the beaten path. It's humble looks masked the history paved with effort, and marred by blood. But it was the man's home. From the thatched huts to the modern wooden buildings; all was necessary for the soul of the town to resonate. Walking past happy memories and homesteads with darkened lanterns, the man finally reached his destination. A single cross, pointing straight at the sky; a wooden beacon of memorandum. Taking two fingers to his lips, he laid a gentle kiss and applied his feelings to the cross. He hoped that his wife would understand. Suddenly, the grass groaned under the weight of multiple feet. The man looked around in confusion. A group of people, with lit candles and somber expressions, centered themselves around a single figure. "Our vigil today, to bring peace to the dead, will light their path to the beyond." Someone had grasped the man's hand. He turned his head, only to find himself staring into the loving eyes of his departed wife. He had not noticed the other townsfolk appearing around him; gentle smiles and kind eyes. The man brought his hand to his face, feigning a headache, with a self-deprecating little smile. So... that was it. The silent prayers of the somber faced group criss crossed the sky along the paths of the fireflies. __ Daybreak. The cobblestone streets are cracked and bruised. The proud town, razed. But not a whiff of smoke to be found. Broken plywood hung by a wooden thread off the frames they originated from. The forge was buried under the remains of the roof. The cross... There were many. 112. A town off the beaten path. Consumed by turmoil that came with the wind, and left just as quickly. But with the help of the living, the dead found their way.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun: I'm not really much of a shoujo anime guy, but I'll check out a series if it sounds promising. Saying that, I'm glad I trusted my instincts when I saw "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun" because it is HILARIOUS! I love the hyper-active imagination of the female protagonist, Sakura. She's a pleasure to watch, and the situations she finds herself in are just as entertaining. I have no problem with the male protagonist, Nazaki, even though he plays more of the "emotionless"-type of character, he really shines when coming up with off-the-wall ideas for the shoujo manga he writes. The two make a great couple, and play extremely well off of each other. If the series can keep up with level of humor throughout the season, I will be taking a closer look at shoujo anime in the future.

I live in Houston and have lived in the SF Bay area and I think people, in my experience, are pretty friendly for large cities. Random people will say hi, how are you?, smile at each other, and observe the social niceties. Haha maybe I've just been really lucky :p
