A girl, most likely black or half (don't know the English word). She probably won't be into games or anime all that much but we will let each other live our passions and hobbies. I hope she's as posed as I am. Hopefully the girl won't be super skinny/fat, I dislike extremes, and she won't go around with pounds of make-up on her face. And the one most important thing, is that she's with me for me and not my family's wealth.

Now that I think about it there indeed has been a surge of trans men and women on MaiOtaku. In my case, I joined the site after quietly lurking around the forums and discovering just how affable everyone was. There seems to be a lot of lovely people here. The openness of the community reeled me in. I suppose one of the main reasons I'm open about being transgender here is because at the heart, MO is a dating site. I feel as though people should know who I am before deciding to send me a message, that way I can 'weed out' the trolls from those who actually have in interest in engaging in a pleasant conversation with me. Being a furry and all, I've gotten a lot of pointless flak over the years and as such I've learned how to either ignore it or avoid it. Of course, negative comments will still hurt me deep down but I try not to let them get to me as much as they used too. I think being open about things helps with that. I don't need to make excuses or anything. This is who I want to be; This is who I am, and I want the world to see me as such. Don't hide it, flaunt it.

Hai! But I felt it shows only the bad side of being otaku. Otaku actually have many complexes created by a systematic intolerance to people that do not follow the same path as everyone. If our parents HAD VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF HAPPINESS in their lifes, we wouls follow them, but they are suffering from a disguised capitalism slavery. Of course we can see in anime art something we are missing. We need heroes, justice, love, peace... Not war that send soldiers to die in vain! We need truth, leaders like mandela, Mahatma Gandhi that lead us with open hearts, love and justice. I know is not their fault today. As in middle ages we where slave of misguided church, today we and politicias are slave of the bourgeoisie... yet. (they are yet burning down the lung of the world every damm day)

I know two people who are superficial friends(why do I hang out with them I don't know) who kinda like anime but they hate anime openings. Every time we watch a show they're like fast forward, which would be understandable if its a marathon thing, but to "them" anime intros are garbage.
