That's ridiculous, sad, and revolting. No one should throw a girl (or anyone) in her chair over a phone. ESPECIALLY not a full grown man who may not realize his own strength. To be exact though the main character in NHK isn't a complete Hikikomori. He leaves his home regularly to visit a park. He is still however probably the best example of a Hikikomori you'll ever see in an anime.

I loved the previous series of Yuru Yuri! I've not had much chance to watch the new one though lately. What I've seen of it so far is pretty good, slight different format with the new studio but still cute and funny.
