Basically what Azuma said. What you put into it is what you get out of it. On the one hand it is a bit more convenient as far as scheduling things goes. With that said I've seen more than a few people slip up because they just forgot about the class. It is damn convenient though. I personally prefer to take offline courses though. But that's just because socialization is also a nice part of the college experience and a few good friends and potentially good connections down the line were met in courses I took with people interested in the same subjects that I was. As well I'd have professors who would bring in professionals and invite students to attend events. I would not have gotten all that had I just took the course online on my own time. But yeah online classes are not a bad thing at all.

I care about attention from strangers a little bit. From friends, maybe 4/10. From close friends, its 6/10. If I have to make effort and gain attention in a way that makes me a different then I rather be alone than to force myself to be someone I'm not.

Alright cool. The topic that gets most people riled up is about abortions. I'm pro choice, but at my University if you even think about abortion being wrong, you'll be pelted by birth control pills (not really but you might as well be lol). Although I am pro-choice, I think the argument "I'm a woman I can do what I want with my body" is complete BS. I'm a bit biased because I'm a prosecution major but I really do think it's bs. By law, the fetus/baby is considered an individual. The law definition of homicide is the unlawful killing of another human being or fetus. Theoretically speaking, if a pregnant lady were to try to kill you, but you shoot her in self defense but you end up shooting the fetus as well, you can rightly be charged with manslaughter because the fetus is deemed as its own individual. So by that logic, the "it's my body I can do what I want with it" logic doesn't apply because the fetus is not your body, it's another individual. What are you guys ideas on this? Also thank you for contributing.
