most any kind really, though puzzle games and RTS are not really my thing. however, if you want actual titles that i enjoy: Starbound, Terraria, Borderlands 2 and Pre-sequel. and my preferred genres are more rpg's and sandbox, but i have interests in many kinds

Definitely Persona 3 & 4 if you like a more VN style approach alongside of the RPG elements. Persona 1 & 2 are also great, but the gameplay is pretty dated. Didn't age so well. SMT:Nocturne is also pretty great, and the Digital Devil Saga games are worth a look. Though, I must say I absolutely hate the dungeons in DDS. The atmosphere, characters, and gameplay are fine. The dungeons are just so annoying to traverse through for me.

IMPORTANT: going with a 'Bleach' theme for the first blade. my goal isen't to re-create somthing from the show, i want to create an original work based on the anime universe chosen. so starting tmrw i'll begin forging my very own zanbato (japanese: 'horse cutter') greatsword. i.ll post concept art of the project in a bit.
