Another pair I like is Gaius/Muzet. Both characters in the first Xillia game becoming party members in the second. Doing their character quests show that they subtly look out for each other and have an unspoken understanding. And again, that polar opposite combination gives me life.

Agreeing with some previous posts, it's a matter of perpsective. Instead of looking at it as trying and failing to find someone, maybe just see it as learning and preparing for THE ONE. Don't if there's any polygamists here, but if you're looking for that special someone amongst literally millions of ppl, chances r you're not gonna find them the first few times around. That's just reality. Just learn what u can with each relationship that didn't work out, so when that special one shows up, you'll b ready.
