Sloooooow updates

Am I the only one who finds great mangas to read and once you get caught all the way up it takes like 4 FREAKING MONTHS to get the new chapter like wtf the universe is out to get me.......

Each of these manga suffered the slow update for a while (or still are): KissxSis Soul Eater Full Metal Panic Sigma Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai (this one is AMAZING)

Well Full Metal Panic Sigma takes a while to release because the group that scanslates it waits til the the full volume comes out and releases it all at once. I can speak from experience from being in a scanslation group that there are a variety of factors that can halt a project for a while such as: -The manga is taking a break that month -The raws aren't available, pretty common cause -Something comes up with an integral member of a scanslation group, like the translator -The group has lost interest and dropped the manga

glad I'm not the only one experiencing this irritation lol what I think sucks the most is when there are like 10 raws out and not one are yet translated -_- this really makes me want to learn Japanese...

yea, though like I said, translating can be a lot of work, especially when you're trying to adjust to everyones schedule. There's translating of course, proofreading, cleaning the pages which may take a while depending on if the group cleans the sfx as well, then theres typesetting, and finally quality checking.
