Pokemon since very easy to earn money. Maybe Rune factory or Yugioh

I think I've stated this already... but Pokemon wins after much deliberation. Not only is it guaranteed that you'd be able to have any kind of adventure you'd want to have...but you're also guaranteed to not be stuck as a background character. If it's in the video game universe of Pokemon then there would be a lot of different places you could travel (I mean how many regions are there now?) I'm sure that eventually you'd be able to go into space in a Pokemon universe as well (considering there are several Pokemon said to come from space it stands to reason there are also Pokemon somewhere in space) so really it has everything anyone would ever want. Want to be a badass with swords? Get yourself an aegislash...want to be a badass with 3D manouver gear? get yourself a bulbasuar and aegislash...with Pokemon the possibilities are endless
