I agree with Baka, do what you like. Don't care about what others might think. But if you're not happy with yourself you should do something about it.

I speak for myself, but I agree with Baka When I go to the gym, I go to work on myself I don't care if people look at me, they don't matter, I'm never gonna interact with em or see them outside I'm there to improve on myself and people can judge all they want, its gonna happen regardless But also some people respect you for putting in the effort that you want to improve Thats the way I see it, If some dude is there to lose weight, I respect that, I'm never gonna put someone down for it I've gained confidence by not caring what other people think when I'm trying to improve on myself

Compliments don’t automatically relate to attraction, and shouldn’t be interpreted as such, but it’s no secret that generally speaking, people who stand out more in a positive way are going to get more compliments. Attraction is just one of those “positive standouts”. I generally use compliments to show appreciation for something I think someone put a lot of work in. But like i’m Asexual. XD
