i confess i just officially started the fate series (i bought the dvd ages ago and never finished it) wish me luck (SO MANY SEASONS)

im starting it at fate/zero and its really good so far PIX REIN PIXXXXX

The anime adaptions of fate in general don't really do a good job at capturing the story and the character arcs that the VN established. Unlimited Blade Works and the Heaven's Feel Movies are probably the closest to a good adaption tbh, everything else is pretty meh aside from Fate/Zero which isn't connected with the VN at all in the first place but was a light novel. The vn is the legit experience while the anime is only just passable in telling a general outline of the story, most of the character growth is thrown out of the window as a result.
