The keys to ANY relationship, romantic or platonic are communication and honesty. Go in with a game plan from the get go and stick with it, sink or swim. Want an open relationship? Dont pout when your emotions tell you different(Not trying to be mean, just saying). You set yourself up from the start by what foundation you lay down. If there is consistent communication, then 2 months is a solid amount of time to reel in the line and see what's on the hook. edit: IF the other person has been fucking around in those 2 months, then abort the operation as soon as possible.
