Welp I confess I had another weird and vivid dream. Guess it's time for another installment of "Kaiser's Weird Dream Theater" :u The dream started with my best friend and his wife stopping by my place to visit, we spoke for a while and then I had asked my friend what they had planned today and he answered with "nothing really, just kinda riding around town" but moments later he started to get a serious look on his face like he was deep in thought and said "actually I think you should come along." and I told him "sure, let me get on my shoes and stuff" only to find that he left as soon as I was ready. I thought it was strange but brushed it off because they did recently have a baby and something urgent probably happened. I went back in the house and took a nap since I was strangely tired...though when I woke up I was sleeping on the sidewalk of some unfamiliar road, after looking around for a bit I saw a familiar car drive by. It was definitely my friend's car, I conveniently had my cellphone on me so I had called him and asked if he could turn around and pick me up, though he seemed pretty unsurprised that I was there which was another thing that I thought was pretty strange. When I got into the car, I asked him where is he going since this definitely wasn't any area "around town" I was familiar with. In fact I could see that a majority of the license plates on the cars on the road were from Maryland so we weren't even in Virginia anymore for sure. He just reassured me and told me "You'll see when we get there" Our destination turned out to be some type of office building that was apparently the property of a company that specializes in and funds Earth science. When we got inside that fact became much more apparent since there were flyers and magazines about the geology of various regions in the world, protecting the environment, etc all over the place. Though things were a little off...There were just a lot of people who were just visitors which I thought was strange since this place definitely wasn't the type of place you'd visit like a museum or something. My friend spoke to the receptionist and did some type of gesture with his right hand, she nodded in approval and handed out two binders to him. She then told us to go to the back and wait for our names to be called. While waiting I took it upon myself to take a look at the contents of the binder I had. It was filled with print-outs that were...at a glance, just filled with information about the unique geology of the United States of America. But as I started to reed in detail, I started to notice a message in between the lines: "If you're reading this, you have the aptitude to be one of the few and powerful. We know this, because we have been watching you for a long time." At this point I was a bit freaked out but there was no turning back now. In fact, as soon as I looked up again there was a man standing in front of me. After our eyes met he said "Ah, you must be one of the new candidates. Uhhh...Baleel, Bali?" and I corrected him since I'm used to people not being able to pronounce my name "It's pronounced Balal" he nodded and gestured for me to follow him. We ended up at another desk not too unlike the reception desk at the entrance of the building except this time there was a man in a lab coat standing behind the desk, he told me to show him the binder I received and then pulled out a syringe. "Hold out your right hand, this won't hurt at all." I reluctantly gave him my right hand and he injected....something into it. I could feel in my hand that it wasn't just some type of vaccine or something, I could tell that there was some type of tiny object. My immediate thoughts was that it was some type of tracking device or something so they'd know where I am if I try to run. Since at this point I was definitely convinced that this was some type of secret cult or something. Especially after looking around for a bit, this area didn't have any of the "Earth science" stuff like what was in the front of the building. There was just this emblem that consisted of a blue three-leaf clover posted everywhere. The man in the lab coat extended his hand for a handshake and congratulated me. He also gave me a handbook with that gave me a glimpse of what exactly this 'organization' I suddenly got myself into is. The contents spoke about the super human gifts that members of the organization have and also about our tasks and ultimate objective: 'keeping those who dwell in darkness out of the light of humanity'. I was directed to go outside with the others again for further instructions. I did exactly what I was told and sat down for a bit, though the 'instructions' never came. I did notice that people were just...suddenly leaving, not as if they were tired of waiting or something but they were walking with purpose as if they were going somewhere. I sighed and took a look at the back side of my right hand only to notice that some type of...glowing text had appeared. It was a totally alien language that I couldn't identify but I could actually read the contents. It was instructions for my first task. I'm supposed to go to this abandoned chapel nearby to 'purge unclean ones' apparently. Despite how worrying that whole thing sounded, I had this strange confidence. I felt like I really could take on anything that came at me. Human or not. As my instructions mentioned there were indeed 'unclean ones' there when I arrived. They were some type of undead apparently but my excitement to try out my "powers" definitely overpowered my fear and disgust of the creatures. I apparently had an affinity for manipulating water and a heavy downpour had just started so it was a perfect opportunity to test it. There definitely was a lot of trial and error involved, my first few projectiles I tried to create with water turned out to be duds; they just fell flat like water balloons when I tried to fire them at the creatures, luckily the sound of the rain kept me undetected during those first few attempts. When I had finally succeeded I unleashed a high pressure, high velocity ball of water that completely tore a hole through one of them. And I picked them off one by one like that. The dream kinda just...ended after that. I wonder if there will ever be a continuation. If you bothered to read this far, thanks for reading!
