California Meet Up!

Isnt this topic already that? Pointless to make another one. And don't worry, this wont be the last meeting, its only the first.

Yea that's wat I was gonna say ikts gonna be the first meeting if try meeting EVERYONE from cali the meeting will fail cuz not everyone can drive or has a ride to drive a long distance so a small meet up is better for the first time maybe more would like to join n r willing to travel a longer distance for the meet up

The reason Little Tokyo was chosen was because that was the closest location near everyone. And I don't have to drive that far, since I'm the farthest away. :) It's just the first meet up, it's not supposed to be stressful.

@Michael Starting three different meet ups across California is a rather horrible idea. 99% of the meetups we try on MaiOtaku end in complete failure. While this one shows much more promise, I wouldn't count our luck by trying to organize meetups outside of our region. For those that are in NorCal and want to meet up, they should get themselves together and organize their own event. I'd rather we not be changing the dates. TaylorHime said October 5th and many people may have already started making plans for that. Though, I wouldn't care either way if it was October 6th, that might ruin other people's schedules.

Agreed ^^ Everything is set, I would hope people would stop making it more complicated. Shit is done. Date picked. Point. Blank. Period.
