I have a girl that I have had a crush on for about 4 or more years now but when I text her she texts back like only a couple of times

ooo I don't know. When they respond immediately? Text is bad sign when trying deciding if she like you or not. Why don't you go meet her face to face? assuming you live near her

The only way you'll ever know for sure what someone else is thinking is to just come out and ask them. All those signs she/he's into you are all kinda subjective. And honestly, from the little bit of information you put, my knee jerk reaction is that she probably doesn't like you like that. But then again, she could just not like to text. You'll only know if you ask

If they're into you, they'll go out of their way to contact your or want to spend time with you. Four years is a long time. If they're only texting you infrequently, there's a pretty good chance they only really see you as a friend. As mentioned above, the only way you'll know 100% sure is if you ask them.

Just ask thats what i do. If they like you they my say yes, if the REALLY like you they will brash away, if they don't they will say so, and try to joke about it so that you don't look over senitive.
