Unofficial MaiOtaku Chatroom!

Okay so I apologize for whatever is wrong right now with Tinychat.com, I have looked at the website and currently it seems like all of the public, non-temporary rooms are down. For now, we will use the temporary room that from_the_ashes has made above. If this problem persists, I'll see what I can do to fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone!

The Tinychat problems are starting to become annoying. If this continues we may need to switch to a different program.

Skype has been suggested several times but I don't want to adopt it for several reasons. 1) Some people use their real names on their Skype and may not be privy to give this information out over the internet just yet. 2) To get new people, you would need to add 20+ contacts to your Skype list just to recreate what we've been doing so far. 3) Ease of use. Anyone can jump into a conversation in the chatroom but with Skype we would need to have set times and dates where people are available. It's just too difficult. 4) No push to talk is ugh. I highly encourage you exchange Skype usernames if you want to meet people outside of MaiOtaku, but as far as chatrooms are concerned Skype is not a viable option.
