Question for the ladies.

Well they should have something i can talk about on them. For example some on the bus the other day a guy had a zelda tatoo so i got talking to him and gave him my number.(He didn't even have to ask) Humans naturally want to talk to others, but after we say "Hi..." we have no idea where the conversation will lead. By having a t-shirt of an anime series we like or wear a hat in the summer, we have something to comment on, and it makes us more courageous.

It's a little awkward for anyone to walk up to anyone, but I guess some basic things would be that he has too look friendly and nice. Approachable-looking, you know? Having a group of friends with you could be good sincei it show's you're social, but then again it might feel like it'd be interrupting. x__x I'd say if you like someone just go up to them. Chances are people won't just come up to you on a regular basis unless you're a celebrity.. because it's awkward. >__< Or unless you're at a con and you cosplayed. :3

Well if you in a bar or something sit at the bar, not a table, and look uninterested. Also if the girl downs a shot of vodka, compliment her on it... or in your in a club, stand off by yourself, but not by other people, and try to look cute, whenever i see a boy like that, i always grab there hand and dance with them.

that's something i should've done at otakon this year. Dress more otaku like. with Anime and/or manga t shirts. Or some accessory like a watch or necklace. I saw this guraan lagaan drill necklace on crunchyroll recently.

I just need something to comment on. A hat, bag, cool hair, anything that i might think is cool. I do a tiny bit of leather work, so if you have a cool belt i may say something. I personally carry a custom leather purse with anime characters on it. I get a good number of comments and email addresses just from that.

Hmm... I'm to shy in person to say anything. Unless they have a very cool costume, then I might work up the courage to comment something.
