I just built my friend a PC for about 1.2k USD using the ryzen 3600
The build looked something like this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/brswNQ
Did not clean the thing since I've got the new card.
if I was rich I would get a nice water cooled pc and never have it connected to the internet and see how long the computer would last. it would turn into a classic computer and would be worth a lot. only if we never get better computers in the future where not much energy just runs off and have it be efficient. then there would be no need of old kind of pcs, unlike with old cars that sound cool and everything. it doesn't matter that they aren't efficient.
I actually work in IT! If you have any questions let me know!
I would highly recommend getting at least the Ryzen 5 3600 or preferrably the Ryzen 7 3700X for your CPU if you plan on doing any sort of Content Creation. As for the GPU, if you aren't really playing any of the latest games at 4K or something, then something like a last-gen GTX 1070 or GTX 1060 might be fine for your forseeable future. If you plan on building it from scratch yourself, just be sure you get a compatible Motherboard and decent RAM, as well as a somewhat reputable PSU. I can give more detail if you want some specifics, but for a short answer, here you go.
