What game are you currently playing?

Honestly, is there something I missed about Detroit? Why are people labeling it as the face of ps4 exclusives? xD I suppose this means visual novels are a waste of time as well, right? It's literally nothing except another solid game on the ps4 that offers another type of game to play. Again... I enjoy at least having a variety of games to choose from. As far as indie games, the ps4 is loaded with them xD But, y'know, let's just single out one game and spin it as the entirety of what's being offered.

Visual novels are fun interactive books... and Detroit is a fun interactive movie. Why is a video game of a slideshow with text where you make decisions that affect the story viewed as a joy to play, but a video game of a film where you make decisions that affect the story viewed as a testimony of delusional fanboys? Seriously, someone explain this to me. I literally see no difference in premise. I can watch an entire visual novel on youtube, so wouldn't that mean they should all be criticized as well? I guess this means Danganronpa is trash too...

And yes, there is plenty to explain from someone that's gonna criticize Detroit but enjoy visual novels and Danganronpa. Is it reaaaaally that there's nothing to explain... or is it that you can't explain... cuz it's a contradiction? edit: I enjoy playing Ratchet and Clank... but I hate Titanfall cuz it's just a shooting game. All you do is hold down the shoot button and shoot enemies.

Yeah, I enjoy a narrative focused game now and then as well. Like LA Noire, for instance. Multiplayer games is whats hot right now, though, so I don't think there will be a lot more Triple A story focused games.
