Are you guys okay with long a distance relationship?

My last relationship, we'd only been together a few weeks. That's when she just started constantly pressuring me to come visit her. Now this isn't a weekend drive to the next city, or even the next state over. This is a at least a few hours flight from west coast to east coast. I'd explained that I'd already used up all my vacation days that year and I'd have more come new years which was maybe a few months away. But she was downright insistent that I visit before the end of the year. That same week I broke it off because I couldn't stand all the pressuring. My girlfriend before that, we kept a long distance going for a few years and I was able to fly out and meet her a couple times, but this was even farther. All the way over in the UK. We mutually separated that time since the distance was so far and it was near impossible to stay in touch with the time difference - she'd be going to bed when I was barely waking up. They're not impossible relationships, but for me now, I could sure use something local.

I never really tried it but if I did I would try doing with muro lo since she knows what she wants and how to keep. Good long distance relationship

I actually made a topic similar to this but there is no moderator so there are a lot of recycled topics. I really don't know who is strong enough to do long distance. it's one thing to say "yeah I'm dating this chick who lives 2,000 miles away but we haven't met and we sporadically talk on the phone", it's another thing to make it work and have one or the other eventually move. I could maybe do it in spirit if we existed online and we were messaging daily, weekly but it is a true testament to all of us. i'm sure if you do the research, you'll find plenty of cases where it worked out and plenty where it crashed and burned.

Well I seriously think that there's no one else left for me where I live so I started looking around other cities, and I actually think this kind of relationships are doable on reasonable distances

I'd prefer not to have one, or be in one ever again, but if I really really really like the guy enough to put that aside then yes. So far my experience with them hasn't been good. I was in one of four years on-and-off but I was getting cheated on the whole time.. So--not something that's good for everyone.

yeah...ill do it :) i did it for years never knew if he cheated just trusted him to not too...i was soo optimistic and naive back then...if i feel pressure into it or if he gives me a time limit to answer then most likely no. If he doesnt have alot of patience then it wont work out.:) but its do able sure.:)

I am military so starting off long distance is pretty much required for me and I think as long as there are no excuses when it comes to visiting it can work a relationship takes a constant effort on both parts but even more so when its long distance
