Saddest anime deaths?

Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black The death of the two siblings who were the villians of this movie and then at the end Rukia finally remembers their names she picked for them. Homura and Shizuku. They're dying, Rukia is crying, and all the sad memories.

One Piece Movie 1. The death of old man Ganzo's pot of fresh cooked oden that the movie villian El Drago stepped on. Ganzo always puts his life into it every new oden and this one was for his friend he hasn't seen in decades. Luffy steps up like a boss and eats it anyway and compliments how good it is. I know its not a person but still pretty sad and awesome scene.

Ace hands down, the effort Luffy put in to save him, went charging into a prison were he barely survived, made it to marineford charged in against three admirals, finally got ace free just to see. Akainu punch a hole through ace right in front of his eyes.

Maes Hughes death was the saddest thing ever And L's death...I mourned for days over these two!!

hughes from fullmetal alchemist crushed me and i was in tears when l from deathnote died because he just accepted the fact it was his turn to go and momos death when she was stabbed by aizen in bleach i know she didnt actually die but that still got to me

yep just remembered one Wizardmon in Digimon Adventure one

Asuka from evangelion!!!the part where shinji was force to strangle her and eat her alien robot and biting down on her capsule where it shatter into gushes of blood with glass everywhere then you hear a deep longing scream!!!!!she just 14 years old!!!!that got me......at OMG!!!!!!!HOLY SHIT!!!!!o_O AND he was force to watch it.....(spoiler though but i dont wanna say)
