it gets really old. I have no words of wisdom other than life is too short. Some of us may spend time here never bearing any fruitful results. It's just a community where we all get to know each other, maybe we need to be more blunt?

Haha yes that's true but I enjoy it I now understand that the persons that once started with me realized that and made their decision or reach whatever goal they had by joining this site but for the time being I'm happy and have fun interacting with you guys and yes I will still try to talk to girls here and try my luck

Thanks for the extreme compliment ;) I've never been in a relationship because, for one, no one started hitting on me until a year or two ago, and two, all they want from me is a friends with benefits relationship, not an actual one -.- I'm not into that. I have had small flings before, but thats because the person put me under the impression that they wanted to date me... But that's people in my area. They are a bunch of rednecks and, well, lets just say that I'm not even close to being country. They tell me I'm too "city" even though I grew up on a farm and such like lol Tis why I'm going out of my area on such websites lol Yes, being more blunt would help

@Alexis, believe me I can relate. XD Growing up in WI too, a lot of people around here aren't the most desirable to date, especially if you're more into the otaku/geek set. A lot of "normal" girls around here don't want to date a gamer like me nor could I really see myself having any sort of meaningful relationship with them when they look down on the things I like as a waste of time.

Yeah, I want to date someone with similar interests. Where is Meta Con located? Is it in the twin cities? Because then its about 6 hours away (my sister went to school there).
