I celebrated early on the second with barbeque and home fireworks with my family :)

Despite the burning hot temperatures, I went down to Phoenix to visit my family. Stood outside the house for maybe five minutes to watch fireworks in the distance before going back in so I wouldn't melt.

Yes, I worked for it. xD It's easy, check if it is legal in your state. Then go to a gun store, I bought a WASR-10 which is a Romanian variant imported through Century Arms. It's is de-milled, so it's got a U.S. friendly citizen receiver ( I hate that part -_-). As long as you are 18+, able to pass a background check and it's legal, you can buy one.
