I can't afford either one. lol. I've been a Liver since 2004, been part of a gaming group since that time, have been incredibly loyal to microsoft, bought new games, bought DLC, never modded my machine, and I have enjoyed the experience. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by the One. Granted, there are some titles I wish I could play (Battlefield 4, Battlefront 3, and others) but the same is true of Playstation and Nintendo. I have just never had the money to constantly invest in gaming, I've been dirt-poor for most of my life. At this point, I'm considering just waving goodbye to console gaming as a whole, and focus my investments on PC gaming.

I might be getting a PC that can handle, at the very least, a few older games like DDO. So the initial expense of the computer won't be a problem.

@Maverick: I'm pretty sure I never compared the PS4 and the Xbox One to a PC If you missed the whole thing It checks every 24hrs to see if if you're connected to the internet, if you're not it won't let you play your games. The 8GB refers to its Graphics Double Data Rate using version 5. PS4 is the first system to use this version and to use this much memory to do so. The actual storage space for the PS4 is 500GB

"and so I don't care, I have internet so it doesn't bother me" Which is why this is a horrible feature, not everyone has constant internet, or internet at all. That's one of the top reasons why people buy a game system is to substitute it for the lack of internet, keeping themselves entertained.

"and so I don't care, I have internet so it doesn't bother me" Sorry but this makes you sound ignorant, the out cry of hate towards this system is because a lot of people don't have an internet connection *cough* military *cough*. Also to clarify some of your posts, you can play your steam game offline for a long time. The time limit on the offline is unknown but hell for a bout a month I didn't have internet and I was still able to play my games on steam. The Playstation has been giving out games for free for their PS+ accounts. Sure we have to pay for PS+ to play multiplayer but 5$ is nothing for a lot of people, but this doesn't mean we can't play single player games offline or without the PS+. The fact that you look down on casual gamers is kinda disheartening, people play games no matter what platform or type of games. Gamers are gamers no matter what they play, they shouldn't be look down on and spat on because of what they play.

What the Xbox 1 did is pretty much alienate the people in the military that don't have access to the internet. That's why everyone is saying that not even the Xbox 1 exclusives aren't going to save this system.
