My favorite genre of anime is greek tragedy and I have to admit this show really appeals to me. Even though I watch/read almost every shonen it's refreshing to have something that's as far away from that as possible. A story in which the hero doesn't always save his friends, get the girl and ride off into the proverbial sunset. Just a morbid, gritty look at what each person would sacrifice (both physical and emotional) for the survival of the human race. And in their darkest hour, lead by the most primal instincts for survival, we can still see aspects of jealousy, love, politics and friendship shine through.

Haha @sky clad observer I know if his anime is going to be back to back with the manga so far to where the manga stands right now we are looking to a least in my opinion 13 episodes Going in the third season

Aside from that have you been keeping up with the manga? If so I think this anime it's going to be long or really short

I'm always late when it comes to new Anime. Last year all everyone talked about was SAO. Now it's this Attack On Titan stuff. Is it really as good as everyone says it is?

OMG ! I think that Shingeki no kyojin is the new anime of the year *^* I love this story and the characters are really cool *3* But... Lots anime will arrive yet... Huhu ^-^ (Sorry for my english Q__Q)

Well the manga has been going on for a while now it just got pretty famous this year for some reason
