Liking Anime got me bullied?

@oreo glad you like my storytelling and ya it would probably end with another mysterious continuation :3 @zero_onimatsu its a boring filler that is why I left it as mysterious wonder! as a cheap trick most mangaka would do when they don't know what to write about they just leave it to the reader to use your imagination! ＿φ(￣ー￣ ) but then again if there's enough fans then maybe.. ☆～（ゝ。∂）

people like to try to test you. if you let them get away with it they will keep on going and going. i let it be known that i liked anime when i was in school. I only ever had three people push me. if they said something to me i would look them right in the eye and tell them to go f@$% there self. if they didnt like it id get in there face and they would ether back down or we would fight even if i knew i couldent win. made a few of my best freinds by standing up to them. just got to man up. just because your a nerd or your small or your big dosent mean you cant stand up for yourself and be a badass

Well, I got bullied in general, but mainly in elementary and middle school. It wasn't over anime, really. I don't remember much about what the actual bullying was about because most of my memories during that time are repressed. When I think back to it, everything is pretty hazy. That was from 4th through 9th grade. Then I went overseas for a year and came back to the USA. I was able to get myself out of my depression and became a much happier person. Now I kind of drift through school without many friends and no truly close friends but its better than being bullied. I get along with most people if just on speaking terms, but I couldn't call myself friends with many of them... anyways, I've gotten quite a few people into anime. 10+, in fact. Just keep your head up. Everyone will tell you that college is ten times better for all that stuff, and trust me, it is. I might not be in college yet, but both my sisters already went through, one of which was severally bullied all through high school. She found her nitch in college and made tons of friends.

Advice for Otaku friends. Of all those people who bullied you about anime. This is rude language but I'm gonna be blunt about it. F*** Them! If you like anime, you like anime! If they don't like it, they can get the hell over it! I've been through a lot of it and know what to expect. People look down on it like its a crime or something. My parents were the same way until I told them this, "Well at least I'm not out getting high on drugs or drinking and driving. Would you rather have me watching anime or that?" And since then they thought about it and agreed with me. They just thought anime was a bad influence but later found out it wasnt bad. To be honest I was just like everyone until finally I got confidence about me liking anime and cosplaying and etc. What I'm trying to say is don't let people offend you and don't let them put you down. If they get to you, they win. If you don't let them get to you, you win. To bullies it's all a game to see who can they bring down the most, but to win against the bully just smile and be like you can't get to be just because of what i like or what I love! I know I've said a lot but I came to this conclusion myself while working offshore with these guys trying to get to me out there. You do what you want and like what you like and don't let what others say or think offend you. Just wanted to see if this helps anyone. I hope it does! Oh and some Eminem songs will help as well. He's just like me and been through worse.

Thankfully no one has ever bothered me about my obsession with anime. I've been bullied most of my life for my mental issues and looks. In a way anime I think was what kept me alive during those times.

I suppose that's one good thing about going to a high school where the grade classes are like 550+ people. That's too much people to recognize in the halls much less single one out for whatever reason.

WOW WHAT THE FUCK !! Being bullied for the things you love ? THAT is exactly the kind of people that I could just beat up all day. No kidding. Why do you let those guys bully you ? Are they stronger than you ? Then go train harder ! If they train 3 hours you train 10 hours ! Beatht he crap out of those idiots. Perhaps they will start using their brains and understand what they did was wrong. I know that sometimes only the fist of a truew warrior can make an evil mind change. PROVE YOURSELF WORTHY !
