Texting is so annoying

I recently started talking to a girl. It's been about a week but, if I don't reply within 5 minutes she texts me again. If 10 minutes go by she will call. She has used butt dialing as an excuse 3 times now... I've known her for a long time from school. idk if I can handle such a needy person. I am generally really busy or enjoying the slim amount of alone time I have.. I'm okay with talking on the phone for a little at night. This texting is driving me crazy though.

Don't go for needy women. Drop her, is my advice, if you can't talk it over with her and get her to stop this. Partner compatibility is truly your best friend, if she's needy and clingy, she'll likely dump you for some other guy once her novelty of you wears out.

I much prefer texting. Then again, I do it from computer via google voice. The reason is I can do it at my discretion, and don't need to stay on the line for 10 minutes with half of it filled with blah blah blah or silence. Plus I can have a bad memory at times, so it means all my conversations are written in text and searchable later. However I don't think your issue is texting. I think it's her neediness.

Omg the needy one suck....but there also scary,i knew one that somehow found out my friend was going to brake it with her so she got prego just to keep him with her 24/7...

I woke up after sleeping only Six hours to find 4 missed calls and 9 texts..from her. She even texted me from her friends phone my guess to try and see if I was ignoring her. You guys are right she is too needy for me. I'm a patient person and this is to overwhelming for me. I told her I have a busy week and she knows I work third shift. I'm not taking this relationship any further. [insert overly attached girlfriend meme] It's a shame too, she was really pretty. Definitely the out of your league type pretty. Guess it makes sense why now. Haha

Tell her to get some friends to unleash her stories and so on o.o Not trying to be mean xD just saying that having multiple people to bug makes you be less annoying by alternating the people that you talk with (especially if you guys are planning to be together / are together)

Hm... Yeah, its best to drop that one. I had a guy that was that way. I didn't respond to his text right away and he would text me asking if I was ignoring him -.- It was super annoying and then the novelty of me wore off so he dropped me for someone else. Ugh.
