Does Thundercats and Speed Racer count? I believe they came from Japan too & I watched it like my life depended on them! Then FoxKids started airing Mon Colie Knights, Flint the Time Detective, Monster Rancher, Digimon, Escaflowne etc. Sailor moon was my first true love that I knew was anime & I started reading the manga a few weeks before the S season started airing on CN. Digimon and Pokemon were obsessions for me as well & continue to be before their 3rd seasons & beyond.
