*Frustration*

I Know Sakura Con Has them I was in it last year it was fun but nothing really came from it. Just met some nice people.

picking up girls at a con doesnt really work well, unless you really hit it off. just try to make friends at a con and not like fake friends, real friends and just hang out. eventually you'll find people who you really wanna hang with or even better a steady relationship. but take it slow aint any reason to rush anything and options exist every where. just keep an eye out for when the opportunity arises.

@Maverick some girls (or actually many girls) would like to be friends with someone and then be together with that person. Sure that's normal and can happen even if two people looking for someone to be with meet (and at the same time they know what they search for), but it creates more of a "story" to find someone to be just friends for a while without thinking of relationships and after some time be together... I know how you feel. I'm just pointing something that I noticed :3 Also, don't think too much about the friendzone. Making some flirts here and there (with some little humor) should make two friends get closer to each other gradually.

Oh yea...that is really annoying. Yet you can't force people. Not everybody has the same tastes. Sometimes a girl will say that they only look for friends or don't wanna have relationships because they don't like you (it happened with me a lot of times). Yet, on rare occasions, it can also mean that the girl would have some interest in you but only if you stick around her for a while (something similar of what I said in the last comment), but it's very rare and I only encountered this situation once to a friend of mine. However, 60% of the time girls prefer to have a big pool of guys to choose from, just so they can choose the most "perfect" person for them. It's a cheat that most girls use xD
