What do you look for in a future partner?

I feel like wanting a girlfriend who will look at whats on the inside, someone honest, someone kind and caring, intelligent, are all a matter of course. So im going to be honest and list the only unimportant thing i care about: I have to be attracted to her.

Well... I would want someone slightly more feminine (at least around me, to counteract my slightly...dominant tendencies) but still protective (to a certain extent) and not clingy; they would have to be independent and able to match or surpass me in most skillsets (i.e. fine arts, academics, athletics). Someone who accepts that I am not and never will be a domestic housewife type of person, and that I will be submerged in my studies and work a lot, so that person should probably also be as focused on whatever it is that they choose to do as I am/will be. As far as attraction, it really is just pretty eyes, and everything else is what is above. XP

For myself, respect for families is important. Lead a good moral life and be open to the fact that I like anime. Would be kind and think of the other person. I was raised in a traditional household. The women did the cooking and men came home after a hard day to enjoy each other's company. I would prefer the person to practice my faith as well (that's for me though)

Someone who is taller than me (I'm petite and stand around 5' only so usually guys pass this requirement lol xD), has a stable job that can give me my needs, down to earth, and can accept me for who I am. The ff. are bonuses: smart, handsome, otaku, and can play musical instruments :p

Aside from the whole otaku thing....hmmm... Physically, he doesn't have to be super buff but he can't be grossly obese either. He shouldn't do drugs and it helps if he likes to drink socially but I could deal with it if he never drank at all. Oh, and I adore creative guys. If he can write or draw then I am immediately attracted to a man.

I'd like someone who understands me well, because I'm very awkward; someone sweet and open about the relationship they're in and willing to share my obsessions as I share theirs. I'd prefer to have a girlfriend, but I'll be happy with whoever will treasure me like I treasure them. Also, they must like getting presents.

WOW! I almost forgot about this site. Makes me happy to see a thread I made become so popular. So I guess I'll update my "interests". Anime as an obvious, and I'm still not very picky. I've become A LOT more accepting of others and generally want someone that would make me happy. I think the best way to see if you like someone is take a chance and just have a friendly conversation with them.

There are two lists of things I want but I am only looking for 1. Also idk where this fits but i want them to be local to my area so we can go out on dates. The one I want is personality, who they are. I want to be charming but loyal, have common interests, can deal with me if i whine or complain, funny, caring, wont get tired of me after a few weeks, and they will love me for me. The list that would be an added bonus is looks. I prefer people who are slimmer (like myself), maybe a bit of muscle but not too much (only a little is what i mean), Blonde or black hair, blue eyes, and between 5'3" and 5'6". All i really want is my personality list though
