whatching anime is it better alone or with friends

soulxevans
I'd like to know what everyone thinks about this. I personally love anime both ways but I definitely prefer it with friends as opposed to by my self but then I prefer to do most things with people as opposed to by my self. What do you guys think? Do you like watching anime with or without people around? Is it better for that matter with friends or with a romantic interest? Do you watch different things with friends as opposed to by yourself or with a loved one? When watching things do you try and pick something you and your friends or romantic interest would enjoy or do you just pick something you like and just hope everyone jumps on board too?

For me probly just myself or a romantic interest. I haven't really watched much anime with people in a room together except for maybe one friend but if I had to I wouldn't hate it. As long as they don't ruin anything or talk the whole way through it while it is still playing.

I'd much rather watch it with other people, that way we can reference the jokes to death after the show is over.

I guess I should say what I prefer since I made the topic haha. XD I usually prefer watching it with friends, we have fun pointing out which character is like us and than we have stuff to talk about other than serious stuff :p If I had a girl I'd hope she would like anime and I'd find it very relaxing just snuggling up on the couch and watching anything really, movies, anime, tv shows what ever so I'd like that a lot.

There's just some things that make me feel so dirty watchin' like "KissXSis". I prefer to watch alone but I do enjoy watchin' with my buddies. They like it because I can explain weird/obscure references to them.

Well with friends. Love watching romance with a special some one. I loved watching Chobits and love hina with my Ex.

I would rather watch a new series alone. Beside that point, I don't mind enjoying a previously viewed series with friends. It's difficult to watch a new series with a group of people, my friends, who comment on everything. EVERYTHING. It's distracting and irritating when I am trying to focus on the story. >_<

I can see that it happens to me and my friends to at times but if we find a series that is really intense you'll hear silence in the room an everyone will be quietly enjoying it. SO I don't really mind I suppose,

Yea me and about 5 friends sat through Puella Magika Madoka non stop pretty much in silence. We saw that folks said it was good but did not hear much about it. We saw that it was a magical girl series andcwas ready for few laughs and cutesy transformations. Boy were wrong. Is in my top 10 anime. Talk about a twisted show.
