Who is ok with long distance?

I think the traveling should go both ways, if one party isn't willing to make the sacrifice of coming out to see the other every once in a while the relationship isn't even, and both parties should be equally as invested in the relationship. If I come visit you 5 times you need to come see me at least once, one person can't be in the relationship and the other be just letting the relationship happen.

If you had money, a car, etc would you visits someone long distance equally as much as they visited you give or take a couple days?

LDR need to go both ways. I've been on the end of one-sided travel relationships, and at the end of the day, it was frustrating as hell because she was never willing to come and see me even though she had the means to do so which is probably why it didn't last more than six months. I mean, I understand when you're younger, you don't have a lot of money, a car, etc. but you do need to contribute something if you're only going to have the other person come and see you all the time. Help pay for their gas, etc. If they're the ones that have to do all the work, after awhile, it's going to get frustrating for them believe me.

Longest I've been in a LDR via online was 11/2 years (2nd longest time I've been in a relationship overall). I never met the guy in person since Washington state is really far away but I had planned to see him when I was able to. Didn't happen because the relationship dissolved and I was in high school without earning an income. We kept in contact mostly through Skype, phone, and stuff of that nature. I try my best to visit friends when I have the funds or means to do so when they are much further away from me. I'm not certain of my ability to do a LDR now, but I'm willing to try if I like the guy a lot. I have a lot of patience and understand situations aren't always ideal, but to make any move forward some risks are apparent.

If you think its fine for one person to sacrifice a lot to come see you and you dont do the same then You do not want the relationship

I am willing to travel to see someone and I am fine with a long distance relationship. However, I do HAVE to meet her before we actually get into a relationship. Chemistry can differ in real life. Also, if we do get serious, I would like to agree on somewhere to move, or her to move to.
