Who is ok with long distance?

metaljester
Yep that and people have been relying on the internet so much that it feels alright to do so this increases said popularity of online dating

^ totally agree, the whole problem with my most recent, um break up if you can call it that(we weren't dating) was she wants to hold hands other things and couldn't stand only seeing me once or twice a month. I on the other hand am perfectly ok with that stuff, because as I have never really had a girlfriend (only been on dates) I've learned to and grown perfectly fine with doing things for my self. I've learned I don't need anyone but me to make me happy, Though a girlfriend would be nice I'm not in any rush at the moment and know I can be perfectly content on my own. That said I would like to be all romantic and holding hands and all that with some one, I just know how to live without it to the point distance and not being able to do that doesn't effect me that much.

Exactly i find spending time talking and letting two peoples pesonalitys mingle is much more better then simply being all physical after all a good relationship is built on personality and socializing not just phyisical stimulation

Don't get me wrong by all means I'd love to hold hands, cuddle, smooch, etc. but like you said I don't see it as the biggest part of the relationship and def not something I need all the time though I'd enjoy that very much it is a perk of being in a relationship not what I get into them for.

I think it really depends on people and what your own circumstances is. Even people who don't think they can/can't be in a LDR might be able to cope if it's with the right (I don't like to use that term really :\) person or situation.

Hmm i have been in mulitple situations of a long distance one and some were pretty hard and painful i still pulled through though now and days society is getting better with this form of dating just like old habits of past time this will slowly become a must thing in life as the habit grows and we become more reliant on the internet this will also create a person who fears going out in the open eventually too though sadly if you loook at the time elapse of itat least for average people

I wouldn't date anyone that I had to fly to I don't think, 2 hours away is my limit I think as long as they can deal with that, but eventually if you get to the point where one of you wants to take it to the next level and move in together there is a whole other problem there especially if it's flying distance. It really sucks though I know this really nice cute girl I'd love to take out and who would love to be taken out by me, but she lives on the east coast and I'm in cali. :/
