who wants to be a father

I'd love to be a father (even if that means adopting), but for now, that's a ways away. I'd first like to see the world, have financial security, and take a parenting course or two before I try to raise kids. That said, given the choice, I'd much rather have daughters over sons (having one son would be nice though). I've always thought that way, even if doesn't exactly make sense.

Think raising kids is more about experience than being taught. Yes, some things need to be learned if you haven't taken care of them before hand. Not sure how helpful a parenting class would be.

No course or book can cover everything that comes with raising children, but it would at least give me the basics from which to start from (like feeding, bathing, sleeping, etc). Experience does matter, no denying it.

really? mav? trust me when i say it takes a village to raise a child. i have 2 boys, their father is a jackass! not in their lives and i have to try to raise them.
