I remember when the highest you could get on the SAT was a 1600.

First SAT scores... Critical Reading: 760 Writing: 670 Math: 550 Second SAT scores... Critical Reading: 620 Writing: 570 Math: 690 1980 compared to 1880. Utter bollocks. I can't stand my shitty performance the second time around. I had no preparation for either test because I'm not self-guided for stupid tests and my school always announced everything at the last minute. My ACT composite was 28. I'm a bit more "competitive" in those terms than the majority of the people in my high school, having received the highest score in the school the first time... but ugh. The first time was a walk-in, and the second time was a sleepwalk-in. Now all I have left is the bitter disappointment heaved upon me by my dad. I don't even want to be a doctor since I hate blood. I hate the hoops we have to go through in high school if we want to invest in our futures.

Stop making me feel bad Kyetge, and I believe that I'd do better on an ACT. Some colleges require a SAT, some require an ACT, some require both. Just depends on the college.

Do you still have time to retake either? And I'm not trying to make you feel bad. I, personally, have issues with logical thinking that would have otherwise benefitted my math score. I hate math... I suck at it... and I've told myself this over and over again for years thanks to one teacher's fucked-up Algebra 2 class that destroyed my foundation in the subject. It didn't help that I changed schools three times, took Precalculus twie, and STILL got a B, indicating that I am proficient at only 80% of the content being taught to me. It's killed me, man. It's utterly squashed any ambition I ever had to work in the engineeering/architecture field that I would have liked to get into for my architect dad's sake.

For colleges you can check with them sometimes via website or call to see what they'll accept. Just also gotta check what the minimum scores needed to be accepted are too. I know for Univ. of Alabama a 22 on my ACT was the bare minimum they were taking really, not sure if they took anyone lower. Also don't know if that score standard has been raised since 2009.

I was playing, but I think I have a little time. My teacher messed up teaching Algebra 1 Pt 2 to me. She didn't explain it, like she would do it like once, didn't explain anything, then she would be done teaching. Being rebellious and starting the worst part of my life, I just didn't do her work. I regretted it because I had to get switched out there, and had two blocks of math. I did all the work, and I sat down my book where I usually stood in the mornings and forgot it. When I remembered I went to get it and my whole entire book's worth of work was gone. I know where you are coming from about changing schools though. I've been in so many different schools it isn't funny anymore.

Changing schools was never funny. :( Being the new kid was fun, sometimes. I had my hair cut really short in tenth grade, the day before I started at my new school, and most of the guys were giving me that "man-stare" of "manliness" because they actually thought I was a tiny male tenth-grade new kid. Oh, the look on their faces when the teacher did the attendance and I responded for my name~ :D It's always fun then. ...until fucking teachers ruin your time in the institution.
