Sailor moon?

There's plenty of reasons why a guy might not be into Sailor Moon because he's a guy. Whether those reasons are legitimate or not is another story, but I would never have been caught saying that I like Sailor Moon unless I wanted to alienate myself from society. And while the sailor designs could be said to have been made to be appealing to males, I'd go further and say it was meant to be geared towards Japanese males. Due to culture difference, especially 10+ years ago, you couldn't really target American males with female "cartoon" characters.

They are re-releasing the Manga. if your in the USA then you have volumes 1-6!! I have been a moonie since birth (well since i was like 7) . i just love it. a guy who appriciates sailor moon and sees it as fun and loves it for the plot is awesome. I still think I'm a magic girl and honestly can't talk to a person unless they know what sailor moon is to a level. It has alot of moals that i realize now that i'm older, i do live by. I have cosplayed Sailor Moon and Sailor Minimoon. but now that i'm older and can sew/work with wigs. im gunna attempt sailor mini moon again. <3 she has been my favorite for a while.

I'm currently watching and own Seasons 1 and 2 and plan to collect the entire series and the movies. I'm not ashamed to admit I like any anime no matter what type it is.

I always watched them on TV in the US but from what I've heard they were heavily cut/edited I'm debating rewatching o.0

^same, I only watched the american version as a kid. I totally dug Tuxedo Mask, though. I even had his theme song as a wav when I roleplayed online. My signature was a blue rose (well, I can't COMPLETELY copy him...). I wish I remembered which sailor was which... lol. I'll just have to go with "I liked the blue haired chick and the one in the green uniform". lol

Dude sailor moon is the shit, that was one of the shows I would race home to watch after school. I was head over heels for Serena
