Xbox VS PS3

I think the controller is fine, doesn't feel that uncomfortable to me. I don't know why people keep saying the online sucks, it went down once, and i got $80 worth of free stuff because of it. Not a fan of the xbox dash board, it's also why i don't like windows live tiles, and will never touch windows 8. Poor game library how? Every game that has come out that I've wanted to play has come out on the PS3. Graphics seem pretty damn good to me. But oh well, that's just me.

I dont like Windows 8 either, I'm a mac guy. I'm getting a WiiU for my nextgen, not an Xbox or PS4. And the controller on a PS3 isn't as form fitting as a 360 or Dreamcast controller. First party games for Sony are inferior to titles like Halo on Xbox or Zelda or Mario on Nintendo. I'm also a classic gamer now because of games like COD, Madden and such changing the definition of quality, Black Ops is OK but its not an uber good game, I can name several FPS games from the 90's that are more fun than that. Graphics between PS3 and Xbox are comparable, but on Xbox exclusives the graphics seem better to me. And I stopped playing online because of the BS I got from kids.

I'm a linux guy myself. My next system is going to be the ouya. Seems like it is going to be pretty good. Halo is overrated in my opinion. Not bad, just not as good as everyone thinks it is. And I'll admit, nintendo has sony with Zelda, but lost me with the motion controls. Good idea, but so far i'm not impressed with the execution. As for Black Ops, I just think it's great as a time sink. Good enough to spend a lot of time playing, but nothing special. It's no Doom though.

Wii U is a solid system, backwards compatibility with Wii games and controllers is a good move. Just waiting on more games to come out for it since its still in launch. $350 well spent. And yes I was playing Black Ops 2 on the gamepad in both my bed and bathroom.

Screw Kinect. A lot of people I know are just getting it so they can wave their hand to control their console. Those people don't need another excuse to become more lazy then they already are. Look, if you're gonna get one or the other, then the Wii is better. As for xbox's dashboard. It sucks. I hate it. I agree the first 3 were the best. I loved customizing things. Now.. bleh. I also dislike how it no longer supports Netflix parties. That was one of the best ways to flop in the evenings.

I have both but I use my PS3 more just because of the fact it has a Blu-Ray player and most of the anime I buy now I try and buy in that format. I use my 360 mostly for Halo lol. I'm not actually not as big of a gamer as I used to be. Mostly I'll play MMO's these days.

I'd just like to say. I am happy they finally decided to update the system of Microsoft points. I hated only being ale to purchase $5, $10, $25 or more worth of Points. Now I can just get the exact amount with my credit card. Yay.
