I cant say that that has happened to me... I haven't dated much but the relationships I have been in go almost perfectly then the guy finds something wrong with me at random points.

I've been in both... the long distance ones where people I gamed with and it just sort of happened

It's like eating good crackers. They're gonna taste good at first and for a while, but soon they become so bland you gotta get something go drink and wash it all away. I'd stick with chips and a variety of dips and hummuses.

I think it can. I dunno if I'd want to date a girl who was a carbon copy of my interests. Some similarity is definitely welcome though. I'd love to find a girl who is into gaming as much as I am, but I'd also want her to have some other varying interests as well.

I agree that there is such thing as too similar. I want my girlfriend to be to have certain differences from me.

Things could get "dull" i guess you could say if there was too much in common. Personally i like to debate and discuss things.
