(Family members look at my collection of memorabilia on display.)
They say to me: "You know those girls aren't real."
My family isn’t particularly into it themselves but they don’t care. I’m 23 and I’m a bigger nerd than I was in my teens, but I think they’re just glad I’m doing really well with college and work. I’ve always been the black sheep of the family, so my passion for manga/anime has been the least of their worries =P
I got my Mum into Attack on Titan.
Both of my parents are total weebs.. I guess I got pretty lucky haha
My mother doesn't care while my brother who loves manga is quite supportive. He's even recommending animes to watch.
My mom thinks anime is weird and she doesn’t understand it, but she is okay with me watching it. My dad probably doesn’t even know what it is. My brother likes anime, but me and my brother don’t talk much anymore. Me and my friend sometimes watch anime together.
I dunno my mom washes my dakimakura and does not seem to be disgusted. I don't talk about Anime with my family.
No one knows. On the outside I'm a normal dude who works on cars and electronics and has a career. On the inside I'm an adorable cat boy trap uwu.
My mom and dad aren't quite aware of it. My brother is, and somehow I've managed to start him off with the Dr.Stone anime followed by the manga.
The only thing closest to Japan they know about me is that my dad knows that I've been learning Japanese for quite a while
