@hell_hound7 I never said anything was a conspiracy theory. An echo chamber is different. Related, but different. So uh... Aside from projecting, how are you? Oh hey, on the topic of conspiracy theories, you know that old anarchist one where the republicans and corperate dems were empowering corperations to much? And any time in the 90s and early 2000s when we tried to bring it up to the right, they would shut us down and call us anti capitalist? You live in florida, right?

I really doubt China wants to start a war. It'd be too costly and everything they have been working towards wouldn't be benefited in any way. Xi Jiping is a big conservationist and wars decimate the environment.

@kuharido Authoritarian regimes often need to rattle the saber when they need to divert attention away from domestic issues. It's a little thing called posturing. The nationalists want a war, and that is his party.

@chocopyro I can understand that but I figure a display of domestic or international strength would be enough. A full scale war just doesn't seem to be in their interest.

I fully believe china will go to war with taiwan i feel as though its a statement. They cant just take over taiwan by proxy they need a show of force. Im just putting myself in the shoes of xi. Ofc china isnt gonna stop at taiwan and japan and neighboring asian countries will be next. But if they can show that they beat the US economically and militarily. Who do you think will stand in their way? Europe will cave, sorry to say but europe is full of a bunch of pussy countries that bend over backwards to countries with power. Africa basically already on the side of china. India is the only real threat but i feel like china will just choke them out economically somehow like they did with us. Again its in China's favor to go to war with taiwan. They basically used russia as a guinea pig to see what modern war looks like.

@chocopyro nah man ik what echo chamber means. But it seems kinda like backhanded. Im listening to basically the same people this "benefits" but see it doesnt exactly benefit anyone sure supply and demand but Gold imo isnt like stocks. This is a currency that has stood the test of time. While all other currencies fail gold and silver does not. Im on the side of truth, and i feel like i have found it. Prepare yourself because it may seem like im dooming rn. But like with covid you saw people's true nature show. Its only a matter of time before the next big thing happens.

If a war breaks out it will be unlike anything seen before. This isnt the early 1900's technology has made leaps and bounds. And the future of several countries hang in the balance here in this day and age if you watch the news on both aisles you will see a sliver of truth.

@hell_hound7 If you ask me, war was waged long ago. The reason you do not engage in a hot war with an enemy is because it is extremely expensive in both money as well as manpower. You wage war the size of WW2, you risk an entire generation being wiped and having to replenish the population. This means you lose out on an entire generation of a workforce which caused Germany, Japan and the USSR massive problems for decades until the population replenished. Instead there is the passive war. Attack the general populace and culture. When your enemy is culturally shredded apart and nobody can come to any sort of agreementon anything, that is when you have won. Your enemy is more likely to engage in a civil war than fight an invading force. Even then, you do not need to invade your enemy. Just have your enemy destroy themselves. This is where the US is right now. Some people say China has it's own issues, but it is a race to the bottom in a manner of speaking. The one who collapses first is the one that loses, the other can swoop in as the world monetary standard. I hate to say it, but China might be able to hold out longer than the US.

I see two sides to this argument, while yes china has problems with having way too many old people and not enough working class people due to the one child policy. It is facing the same problems as japan in terms of new generations being made. On the other hand its faced with a problem of tons of college graduates not finding jobs. This will lead to civil unrest and violence as generally when men cant create families, afford housing, and live good lives they resort to violence with all their free time. But i feel like regardless of whatever issues may arise from a war i think china will still wage one because they cant just simply force taiwan into submission because the Taiwanese know they await the same fate as the uighrs or however its spelled. For the taiwanese this is life or death so it isnt just gonna be an inside job that will take too long and they need Taiwanese resources for economic prosperity. They are trying to cripple the uS bexause if we come to taiwans aid the war will be long and drawn out but if they simply face taiwan alone they will be fine. Ik japan says it intends to fight china but they are kinda not ready for such a fight.
