Andrew M. Cuomo (D)'s handling of coronavirus cases in state nursing facilities. Cuomo’s handling of coronavirus cases in the early days of the pandemic has been the source of controversy after the state ordered nursing homes to accept discharging hospital patients, regardless of a suspected or positive diagnosis of the virus. Cuomo’s office was accused of downplaying and undercounting the subsequent death toll in nursing homes. In January, a report by New York Attorney General Letitia James found that, “a larger number of nursing home residents died from covid-19 than the New York State Department of Health’s (DOH) published nursing home data reflected and may have been undercounted by as much as 50 percent.” That report also found that many nursing home facilities did not properly isolate residents who had tested positive for the coronavirus or screen employees for potential infections. Last July, New York health officials released a report denying that their policies had caused any increase in fatalities. The New York governor’s office remains under state and federal scrutiny over multiple questions. The U.S. attorney’s office in Brooklyn is conducting an investigation into the governor’s office for its nursing home policies and allegedly undercounting the number of fatalities. The U.S. attorney’s office did not comment Saturday on that investigation.

July 23, 2021 Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement regarding President Biden's Department of Justice's decision to reject the New York delegation's request that they investigate Governor Cuomo for his COVID-19 nursing home coverup. “This decision from President Biden’s Department of Justice makes President Biden complicit in the criminal corruption scandal and coverup of deaths of thousands of vulnerable seniors,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “New Yorkers deserve answers and accountability. I was the first member of Congress to call for an investigation into Governor Cuomo’s corrupt criminal coverup and I will continue to fight for the families who lost loved ones because of the cruelty and corruption of our Governor. “I call on the DOJ Inspector General to look into this matter. What did Governor Cuomo promise President Joe Biden in his White House meeting? And how can the DOJ not investigate such a blatantly criminal coverup? “Tens of thousands of heartbroken New Yorkers are counting on us to deliver justice for their loved ones. We will never give up.”

Interesting that they would announce that on a Saturday when it looks like on the DOJ's website they skip news releases on the weekends. Also just to note, there's not a mention of NOT going forward with an investigation in their news releases. Shady shit.

Another story making the rounds on Twitter these last couple of days, apparently there was a video that went viral in 2015 of Biden's swearing in ceremony (in 2009) where he was being creepy around a kid again. Joe biden has been doing it so long probably in his dementia'd state he cant even contain himself. Too bad his old buddy Jeffrey got prematurely expired by the clintons.

I dont believe cuomo resigned without having a plan. This is the same cuomo who would not step down despite people calling for him to resign. The president telling him to resign shouldnt have made a difference. He definitely found a way to still make money without being govenor.
