Been doing a little personal project. I simulated 2X and 3X S&P 500 leverage ETF's going back to 1957. Why 1957? That's when the modern S&P 500 started. Leverage ETF's rebalance every day so there is tracking error. But whatever, that's too technical for here. If one can stomach the level of volatility. Leverage S&P 500 ETF's way outperform the market. First graph is scaled regularly. But because of exponential growth. The 1X S&P 500 looks tiny in comparison. I haven't traded an option in like 3 months. I keep telling myself that I should start again, but I keep forgetting. Instead of doing it manually.
