i agree with the dangerous intertwining of corporations and politicians, which is why id rather we had a system like they have in england, where taxes pay for peoples campaigns our current system just begs to be manipulated

Very much so. I think a mix of letting taxes pay for campaigns and imposing staggering career term limits on seats in congress would do wonders for helping our system, but I suppose that is why they won't ever happen.

I see the State as follows: "Bad with it, worse without it." Unfortunately, here Corporatism was always in the high tides. Add that to excessive Protectionism and Draconian work laws, Brazil is a haven for national monopolies with shitty services backed up by the State's regulation agencies themselves.

@Danilo Admittedly, I know little of the structure of the Brazilian government today, but in my studies of Chagnons work with the Yanomamo, I learned that it was very corrupt at least at the time. If that is still the case I can understand why you say the bad with it worse without it comment. I feel like that is true for a number of governments around the world currently. Sure, the American system sucks, but imagine the same groups with "no" regulations.

@raf idk if you ment me or lyz but i heavily believe in government, i dont trust the average joe as far as i could throw him i agree a lot with authoritarianism really, i think a perfect world is one with a nanny state that keeps us safe i just think that could only happen in a perfect world xD

@Lyzarus Here, Classical Liberalism had taken a bad turn to Libertarianism with the rise in influence of the Austriac School, which is a shame. Libertarians here tend to say the following anachronism: "Everyone that does defend the existence of State is a Socialist" or "Everything that is against Free-market Capitalism is Socialism" We never vote for someone, we vote AGAINST someone, in fact (like voting in someone just to avoid the other from winning). Which is our only choice because we are a Democracy whose vote is compulsory. The only thing good that actually happened was the "fall" of the Labour Party, who protagonized the biggest corruption scandal investigated in our history.
